Every Saturday on BBC2 around 21:00 UK time, there is a documentary about the history of British film. It is seven parts and I have seen part 3 on Costume movies last week and yesterday part 4 on Horror movies.
You get an overview of movies and then interviews with actors and directors. And YES, they have asked Rufus to make comments. It is gone if you blink your eyes (so keep your eyes fixed) but he made a comment on An American Wherewolf in London. And about another movie, which I can't remember. He also commented in part 3, so I expect to see him again in part 5.
Worthwhile watching part 5 next Saturday!

Aah, missed that one. And a comment on An American Wherewolf in London. I saw that film when I was young and it haunted me for years!

I d/l episode 4. Here's a screencap: Brian Cox was in the same episode. Rufus was talking about Tom Jones and praising it for its energy, inventiveness and zestiness 'that you don't tend to associate with period drama'.

Thanks Uke for feeding my obsessive collection. I've had nothing new to add for at least 24 hours.
