Thanks GE2, but I didn't think my 'little' pic warranted a new page!! I did try to enlarge it but the quality was woeful. Have seen the pics on the other thread....lovely profile of our man. He just looks so good in a dark suit. Hey what am I saying, Rufus would look good wearing a black bin bag.

Sounds like you had fun, Frannie! I had my first very merry Christmas party with colleagues last Friday. Good food, good wine, good cocktails ;D And, fortunately, no morning-after trouble. Some other co-workers and I are planning a visit to a nearby Christmas market tomorrow. I'll have to avoid the mulled wine because I've got a few miles to drive afterwards, and I hope the weather will have improved by then. It's been very unpleasant today with rain and hail and storms. Ickkk. I wish I was a bear, able to retreat into a cosy warm cave until spring arrives!

Went to a tea room last monday with friends for a pre Christmas celebration. My work Christmas party is tonight. I love this time of year! Have a great time tonight Kygal. And to everyone who is attending parties etc....enjoy. Due to the nature of my work (and general lack of people working there) we don't have a company bash at Christmas, but my boss always gets me a nice pressie. I won't be missing out though as I have a couple of meals out lined up before Christmas.

I just got back from dropping my sister off at the airport. She should land in Australia (her new home) Saturday morning. This is the first time she's flown alone and the first time she's been away from home by herself so we're a bit on the edge but she's was as excited as she could be. The house is going to be very naked with her gone (as she likes to put it) but my Mum and I are already planning to visit her next summer and we'll probably be chatting on Skype every day. I'm quite excited for her and I can't wait to hear what she'll get up to ;D

Meg, I hope your sister has a safe flight and will enjoy her stay "down under" I can imagine how strange it feels that she's gone now. My little sister was what I missed most when I moved out (although we quarreled a lot while living under the same roof).

Good luck to your sister Meg. The first time I moved out I was only 1 mile from my parents home. Now I live 5 miles from them...haha. Now you have a nice place to go visit!

Hope you don't miss Sis too much, Meg! I just saw this brilliant video on the TV news. It was made by British Navy lads and lasses on HMS Ocean - they went on a 7 week training exercise that turned into a 7 month deployment off Libya, and they made this to celebrate coming home for Christmas: www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDZcGz4vmJcI now have a ridiculous smile on my face after watching that! (P.S. they arrived home today)

Unfortunately I don't get any sound - but I love the look of it and hope to find a way to listen (I guess it's idiot German copyright law again!)
