Any rays of hope are welcome in those times. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Thanks GE2. That's not far from his agent. Dare I get my hopes up for news of some work ? Oh. I hope so. Let's hope it's a West End play. But to be fair to fans outside the UK, let's hope it's a play and then a film or a TV drama. Though I'm sure many would travel to London if they were certain they were going to see him !

Hope his agent has given him my letter, which I have sent to Rufus in March The Vigo Street is only 2 streets far away from his agent office in the New Burlington Street...

I'm unashamedly hoping for a West End play too anniem. Perhaps he could time it to coincide with the autumn get together. That would give lots of our fangirls the perfect excuse to attend It would also allow time for a second series of Zen to be filmed this summer when it eventually gets picked up and if they get cracking they could maybe fit "The Sea" in before then. Is it really too much to ask ?

Off to London next Friday to the Royal Academy. Would it not be heavenly to bump into the man himself. I can only dream

Oh Girls, Nell, GE2, Kygal, Nicole, Anniem, I so agree with you all I can't stand the suspense much longer of waiting to hear what Ruf is going to take on next. He must have had offers!! I know he is a picky b.gger!!! but even so he must have something lined up. Whatever it is we can all look forward to seeing him act again!!

Okay. What do you think? This guy's Twitter feed indicates that he works in the movie industry and just moved to New Orleans and will be there through July (apparently for work) after spending time filming something in Atlanta ("Teen Wolf" I think). Further sleuthing seems to indicate he's working on Tim Burton's film "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" (which IS due to film in New Orleans). And then he tweets these three things today: @digital821 Anthony Scott: Rufus Sewell just walked into the trailer. Nice. @digital821 Anthony Scott: So Rufus Sewell just got a phone call from his "mate", oh it was just Joe Wright. Have you heard of him? @digital821 Anthony Scott: I just had to reprimand Rufus Sewell about taking off his make up without checking with us first. I was told to call him a bafoon. So I did. ?? -------- Edited to add: "Joe Wright" is likely the man who directed Rufus in "The Last King" (aka Charles II) Edited AGAIN to add: It's been CONFIRMED!!! Rufus is playing the lead villain!
