I reckon it's a cameo..... That's what I'm thinking, too. You know how he's said in interviews that small independent films seem to be the route forward for him since it's easier for him to get cast in roles that interest him. Excellent sleuthing there, GE2!

(Glad you like it!) Not being able to sleep sometimes has its rewards....and its puzzles!: DA_21 D A Chillin' after a scene with Rufus Sewell....pretty cool guy! 13 minutes ago So WHAT is he filming???!!! The plot thickens still further..... (PS - I'm annoyed that it's no longer possible to isolate and view an individual tweet - once it's gone, it's gone! )

Dear Rufus or people-associated-with-Rufus-who-lurk-RT, please send us a hint of what our guy's doing!!! I don't really care what it is he'll be starring in, I'm just so excited he has work and that we all have something to look forward to seeing other than ALVH!!!

Well the producer appears to have made some pretty off beat movies and I did think that was a script he was reading so perhaps it was. I hope so but I do get concerned that it is a one of those off the beaten track movies. On the other hand maybe that is not so bad. Dark City was definitely off the beaten path and today its kind of cult so who knows. Any way I am glad he is working and I hope he is happy. Actually I did some additional research and Sebastian Guiterrez has made some movies that were actually not very well received. I hope Rufus makes a wise chioce there

It took me some googling but this is what I've come up with: "Hotel Noir will be another collaboration with Sebastian Gutierrez.
No further details are available, except that someone referred to Carla as "vocalist". Filming starts next week.
Rosario Dawson, Danny DeVito, Rufus Sewell and John Colella are part of the cast as well."carla-gugino.livejournal.com/128253.html

Nice going UKE I knew someone would figure it out. Now I am more excited I love Danny Devito so this may actually be the kind of dark "comedy" Rufus may actually enjoy. I can now go to bed == Happy

I'm hoping for some dark humour, too. Nice that Danny DeVito is on board for this, loved him in many films, especially "The War of the Roses".

Good sleuthing, Uke! I wonder if this will be one of Gutierrez's new "straight to the Internet" movies? Apparently there was quite a bit of buzz at the most recent SXSW about his "Girl Walks Into a Bar" which was the first movie of that type. ---------- Edited to add: Apparently, yes it is a "straight to Internet" film.

But if it's free on the internet, how will they pay the actors? Will there even be money for muffins? You can come to my house for sandwiches any time, Rufus! Thanks again for all the investigative work, ladies!
