I've read about three of Freya North's novels,including Pillow Talk. I really enjoyed them. They are light very romantic easy to read novels with a feel good factor. Rufus would be good to play the lead man in any one of them. Wonderful stories. I don't think he would agree though. As we know he doesn't see himself as the handsome romantic hero and doesn't want to play those type of roles and become typecast as such. He said didn't he that he is a character actor. Well good on him for sticking to his principles. We will remain faithfull and love him in whatever he portrays.  And I know we all agree with that!  I didn't read the book in the summer after all, but quite recently. The biggest problem is that whilst the younger Arlo has hair like Rufus, the older Arlo is said to have hair similar to that of Phil Spencer or Kevin McLeod (can't remember which), cropped and slightly receding ! Arlo's sense of humour would suit Rufus though. It is a very romantic story, but 'R' rated for the love scenes ! |
