Hi everyone, HBO is showing a 12-minute sneak preview of ALVH, with interview clips from the cast & crew (including Rufus in the blue plaid shirt). Not sure where non-subscribers can see it. I found it on the Comcast On Demand feature, but you have to get HBO to access it. I'm planning on going this weekend, 3D & all. 105 minutes running time, according to the listing. Thanks, Rai. I hope it will be available elsewhere soon. I don't have HBO, so I'm not sure if this is the same thing Rai has seen or not. Most likely not. This morning, I caught only the end of FXM Presents (on Fox Movie Channel), and it was a conversation with Seth G-G about ALVH, and there was a clip of Adam threatening Abe, I think during the train sequence. FXM Presents is something they show between movies, and it will be repeated. It seems like it will be on tonight at 6:19 CST and then again at 8:19 and 10:40. Here's a link to the schedule. www.locatetv.com/tv/fxm-presents/7615127#17-Jun-2012

Thanks for posting these links PGG ! bits and pieces in the 'like a malevolent rhett butler' one were new to me - i liked that Adam is elegant and that at first he wants to get Abe on his side, and that really he wants a home, and that he has a sexy side kick ... these contrasts will likely go well with the extra scary evil bedeeveling of Mr Sewell's Adam i am joyfully anticipating! ... also like the uniquely Rufus expressive expression in the Rufus photo in the article - he is clearly making a point which puts me in mind of one kind of fun competition i sometimes think we could have if it not done before ... to come up with the funniest quip for one of these photos ... (though goodness knows that sounds difficult to organise and i havent a clue what the prize could be... and then ... could any one of us come up with something even funnier than something he himself might say he can be so hilarious at times? possibly not) D

to come up with the funniest quip for one of these photos ... That's virtually what we're doing in the Cap-it thread in the Games section (if you haven't discovered that one yet, I highly recommend taking a peek, it's very very funny). Thanks for the article links, PGG. I love the Rhett Butler comparison and the fact that Adam isn't going to be a cliché ugly baddie but a very elegant and sophisticated one. I hope we'll get to see more of the interview where the photo was taken!

Could you give away a few more details about this cinema, please? Maybe I'll be on a trip to the north of Germany soon and I might be able to arrange a detour to Hamburg to watch ALHV, too..... I keep meaning to ask, Walt - are you going to see ALVH in Hamburg, too, after all? >: Yesterday at 1:03pm Petruchio - Good God wrote:I'll certainly not go on spec on a detour to Hamburg. I checked the internet about English/American cinemas in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich and although there are cinemas of that kind mentioned, no single one had ALHV on its program. Since there may be other German Rufus fans who might also be interested in watching ALVH earlier than the official release date here, it would be very kind and helpful of you, PGG, if you would share your special knowledge about this special cinema with your other German Rooftoppers. Thanks so much in advance!

I just checked. If I didn't have to get up and go to work Friday morning, I could see ALVH at midnight this Thursday. As it is, it looks as though I'll be able to see it Sunday afternoon!! (And I did notice that there are numerous 2D screenings of the film scheduled as well. So those of you who cannot watch 3D without side-effects, there's another option!)

... it would be very kind and helpful of you, PGG, if you would share your special knowledge about this special cinema with your other German Rooftoppers. Thanks so much in advance! I have few connections here and told a friend 5 month ago, if there be a preview of ALVH, I would like to see it - I was on the "waiting-list" ... a friend of a friend and his friend ... I dunno - this friend was only able to get ONE ticket for everyone because of a special connection for the preview - And ALVH will open here on October 3rd for everyone. Unfortunately, I cannot get many tickets because my friend did a favor for me .... Same to my other friend.. she has many connections (much more than me) to Big Boss' of cinemas and american soldiers... so I know, she will be in, too... but just for her... I am really sorry, I made some hopes for you. I was too surprised and happy, my friend told me I am in...
