Winter has returned with a vengeance. We didn't have the terrible snow the northeastern part of the U.S. got, but we did have freezing rain and sleet. Just as I feared, all of the buds on the trees have died. The rest of the spring is going to be pretty colorless. The wind has been pretty fierce also, lots of tree limbs down. Surely our spring weather will return soon.
Heard from the publisher yesterday - the book I edited is now has a publication date, sort of. It's set for late April. I can't wait to hold the finished produce in my hands!

What a shame about the budding trees, Rachel. That's really sad But the book news are great. Hope you get to hold your book very, very soon!

Basketball March madness! I have so many brackets filled out I doubt I can keep up with them.
Have a great day all!

I don't do brackets. My email address, however, is being used by daughter who has filled out a bracket in the dog's name. He's doing well, so far he's 5-0.

Oh yes! Happy St. Patrick's Day! As usual, I'm wearing green trousers to the office, and some Irish music might be in order later today.

And I bet you looked lovely Kate, lol. Rachel, so exciting about the book. Hope your weather has improved. Hi everyone, sorry I have not been around much lately. Thought we were finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, but someone has been laying a few levels of brickwork in recent weeks!!! The 3 M'sMy boss and his girlfriend recently 'adopted' another rescue dog!! Minnie is the newbie on the right in the photo, the tiny one, lol. She is about 2 years old. Marmite in contrast looks fairly large these days. And the lovely Mellow (Irish Wolfound) is about a year old now, still a pup and with about six months growing to do yet!!! She has been getting into a bit of trouble over the last couple of weeks. She keeps digging holes in the lawn in the rear garden!! Big holes, enough to lose an ankle. Actually deep enough to lose a Minnie!! My younger son finally moved into his first house on the last day of February. Previously been renting. The house is lovely. I stayed over recently for a couple of nights to look after his furball (he is settling in well). Steve had been whisked away for his birthday (a gift from his girlfriend) to Prague, lucky lad. So happy that both sons have now got their own homes.

LTM, the three M's are all adorable. Your boss and his girlfriend are good people, taking in rescue dogs as they do. And good for you on your sons' success. Is there anything more satisfying for a parent than to see their children to become successful adults?
Kate, hope you got to listen to some Irish music. And I bet you looked great in your green trousers.
Kygal, your 'Cats are doing well! Good luck today.

I love the 3 M's! So cute. How much dog food do they go through? Congrats to your son on the house! Exciting! Nice birthday gift!
Thanks Rachel. They make me nervous!

The three M's make a lovely team indeed! And congrats to your son on the new home, LTM. That must be a big relief for you, too! Rachel, I even had an Irish song stuck in my head all Friday Have a good week, everyone! I can't say I'm terribly motivated today, but I guess I'll manage
