Kind of aggravated by the other guy's insurance. They suggested that if we "wanted to speed things up" we should put in a claim with OUR insurance and then they'll reimburse us. Heck no! The last thing I want to do is involve our insurance and have to fight with another company.

What a pain! I agree, their insurance needs to be the one involved.
We got some much needed rain. Maybe things will be a little greener. Cooler temps to.

I am so annoyed with husband right now. Saturday after the accident I told him he should see a doctor and he said no. Sunday, I said yor're pretty sore, maybe you should see the doctor and he said no. Monday, I said you're still sore, maybe you should see a doctor and he said no. Today, he went to get his glasses fixed. They had flown off his face and gotten bent in the accident. The lady fixing his glasses says gee, you should go see a doctor and he said ok. AGGGG!!! Am I the only one whose husband and child will ignore my suggestions but let a total stranger tell them the same thing and suddenly it's the best idea ever. AGGGGG!

Husband is feeling better but the plot thickens. Now his insurance company is claiming he's not covered. It seems he bought the car 4 days before the accident and immediately called this company to get insurance. They gave him a policy number and even an electronic insurance card. But now they say that he hadn't paid for the policy yet he wasn't covered. Our insurance company has assured us that they won't let them get away with it. It's kind of good news for us though. Our insurance company wants to move ahead as quickly as possible to get our car fixed.

Things are moving quickly now that our insurance is involved. They are having the car taken to a body shop tomorrow and have arranged for a rental car until ours is returned.
This weekend I'm going back to my hometown for my high school reunion, looking forward to seeing my two old friends. Plus I'll get to see my family. Should be a good weekend.

Fall seems to have finally arrived, the weather has definitely turned cooler. Felt god to break out the fall clothes.

Yes it does. We have a ball game tonight and it will be almost cold. Time to get the banana tress in! I re-arranged my clothes last weekend. Still have some summer cloths available as needed. Weather wise we get to enjoy all four seasons (even if short-lived).

Had a really great time at my reunion. Sat and talked to old friends for hours, so many memories.
The car finally got towed to the body shop yesterday, only a week and a half after the accident. I surely hope it doesn't take that long to fix it.

Glad you had a nice time visiting old friends Rachel. My experience with the car situation is it always takes longer than they say. Hope that's not the case for you.
Have a great day all!

Haven´t been on here for a while... What a mess Rachel about the car and insurance! Glad nobody got hurt too seriously, but I understand that you´re angry about your hubby´s stubbornness! Happy that you had a nice time at the reunion! I haven´t yet re-arranged my clothes yet, but we mostly need warmer clothes these days, though the sun´s shining atm. Will go to Midsummernight´s Dream from NTlive today. A pity it always starts so late and takes 3 hours, so I hope to catch my bus in time! They only play Hamlet here at New Year´s Eve, where I got other things to do. Have a good rest of the week everyone!

Midoro, hope you enjoyed "Dream" and weren't to tired the next day. But you should go see Hamlet, it is very well done.
Officially cold weather here, I had to turn the heat on last night. It was pretty chilly the last few days and last night was cold. Raked leaves today. We filled 5 big bags and you can barely tell that we raked.
