A friend sent me this link. I've only started listening, but all I can say is that THIS is the kind of advertising I respond to. If this instant coffee were sold in the U.S. I'd buy some just because of their website. www.cartenoire.co.uk/index.phpIf they'd only add Rufus Sewell and Richard Armitage, I'd be a very happy woman!

Hmmm. So nobody wants to listen to handsome British actors read romantic sections from British literature? Even if it's Dominic West (McNulty from The Wire) reading a section from Lady Chatterly's Lover?

Did you know that Dominic West took over as Jan when Rufus left the London production of R&R?
Anyway, you can sign up for e-mail alerts for new readings on that Carte Noire site - you never know.....

Yes, Dominic played that corrupt Spartan politician who got stabbed for his treachery in 300! I didn't know that was him, though, when I saw 300. I was too busy drooling over Gerard and the rest of those Spartan hunks in their little leather man panties! Wikipedia says he was born in England to an Irish Catholic family. And yes, I would pay to watch Rufus read anything. I don't know how closely I would be able to pay attention to the words he read, though. I might be too mesmerized when they did a close-up of his lips (like they did with Dominic).

Thanks for that judy, oh, I LOVED 300!! I am a bit partial to GB myself!! All that man flesh was wonderful! I really did enjoy the film in itself too, very well done in my opinion and one of my all time fave films.

Joseph Fiennes is reading on there now so you never know Rufus might. I have sent them his name as a suggestion

Oooh! I hadn't seen that they added Mr. Fiennes! He's got such lovely brown eyes and a beautiful voice. I sure hope they take your suggestion about Rufus, dippy!
