Someone on the IMDB message-board found some stuff (none showing Rufus, sadly) and has posted links. They are all to the Google translation from Hungarian so there are lots of untranslated sections as well as badly translated sections! Take a look at THIS and THIS.And some stills of the set: galeria.index.hu/kult/2009/06/16/katedralis/The set looks absolutely amazing. And one of the pages says 700 people are involved in the making of the series!

Very, very nice. Good to see that they ARE actually doing some filming over there!!!!
Some of the translations are hilarious - i particlularly liked Philip slash & Bartholomew count shapes, & i assume Thomas Sewell is a morphing of Tom Builder & Rufus. He IS a dedicated actor isn't he!!!!

! That set is extraordinary! (When I saw that shot of all of those trailers I wondered if one of those was Roof's.)

OMG, Mia! What a find! Thanks! Am I seeing some other pics that we haven't seen? I had a little problem finding the pic. But I typed in "Rufus Sewell" in the search and it brought it right up. The pic is small but click on it!

Looks like they''ve spared no expense, I'm really hoping that this comes to the US. And he looks absolutely fab. I am so jealous to those who will be able to see this. Perhaps a dvd might become available.

I don't know if you have seen this one. I posted it in my forum with the tittle of "Why Hungary? Because this link gives you a tour through the different sets available for film makers in Hungary. If you scroll down slowly you will see the sets used in productions that are set in Medieval times. You can see towns, castles and villages here. Those are probably the ones used for The Pillars.
