These are the words I would use to describe Rufus:
1) magnetic
2) with a rare type of handsomeness that is not boring
3) you see him once and you don't forget his face
4) sometimes sweet...
5) sometimes sensual
6) definitely HOT!

I just nipped out to buy the Sunday Times, and the article on Rufus is entitled "Mild Thing", with this pic:   Sorry the pic's not better, but it runs across two pages and is too large to scan in full. (Rufus, sweetie, you're looking great but waaaaaay too skinny!) |

GE2, THANK YOU FOR POSTING THAT PIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that the photo is a bit "off" as many pics are when reproduced for a specific medium... as here for the Times article. I really don't believe that Rufus is as "skinny" as he appears here. I would love to purchase this section and/or edition of the Times. Do you have any ideas on how I may do so  Is the article in an entertainment publication that is inserted with the paper? Please advise. Diane |

I wonder if we could persuade Rufus to put his hand up for a gig with "Who do you think you are?" during his unemployment phase - it might get him out to Aus for a few days at least!
Travelover, I agree with you, Rufus is an actor's actor - he should be a star but would probably hate the Brad Pitt type life. When you put "stars" like Tom Cruise <gag> and Rufus in the same room there is absolutely no comparison of talent, Rufus can morph into a part, Tom is just good at being Tom (most of the time)

Oooh! Thank you for the scans! That photo is too fine! I absolutely LOVE his "Tom Builder" beard with the gray in it! I'm wondering if he is "too skinny" because his role as Tom Builder requires it. In the book, Tom and his family nearly starve to death before he lands the job building the cathedral. Oh, and that outfit really does make him look like the almost-homeless person he is! LOL!  |
