No, no, GE2, when they relate to Rufus, fibs are just pretty little stories we tell other people to keep them happy.
I also had a hard time hearing the Q&A and missed the beginning. I wish the moderator (who overall did a great job though) had repeated all the questions. However, from what I could hear, Rufus's replies were thoughtful and/or witty. Fabrice du Welz was really interesting too, and most people asked some good questions.
I'm looking forward to hearing about Ruthie's experience. I was surprised at how many empty seats there were. I wonder if it was because the event wasn't properly publicized, or if the movies' theme turned people off, or what.

Hi Guys,
New to the site but big Rufus fan.
Just saw the film and Q&A. Didn't get my question answered. They chose another one that was similar but not really what I wanted to know.
Went to a screening and Q&A for a film with Angelica Huston. Film ok - Q&A was good. The best thing was they did not go off stage so quickly so as you were leaving you had a chance to go up and say hi. They sue got them off the stage quickly this time though. Hope Ruthie got to speak to him.

Did he fidget a lot? Just read a comment that "Rufus had an ant in his butt"!!!!! I do love the fact that he is so still and intense when playing a role with all those tiny micro expressions, but in reality waves his hands around and is larger than life!!! We just love him don't we

I thought he looked very fidgety. Rocking his chair back, playing with the mic, etc
Welcome, aviva! What was your question (if you don't mind my asking)?

Did he fidget a lot? He kept rocking back and forth - I wanted to tell him to stop!

Ha! Do you and I have the same mothering instinct to tell him he's going to tip over if he doesn't settle down?

I only found out shortly before the showing that it was happening or I would have been there. As well as it not being that well publicised - how many people have heard of the film if they are not fans of the cast or director? From my experience - no one. You also have to pay so not really worth it unless you are a fan, really want to see the film or perhaps studying film/acting.
I had loads of questions I wanted to ask Rufus but as they weren't about the film I knew they wouldn't ask them.

Yes, I saw Glo's question was answered. Mine wasn't. Anybody else have theirs answered? (Numbat, agree with your comment about the fibs!) I don't think mine was but because of the quality it is hard to tell.

Yes, I'm spanish. LOL!! I'm not sure if you are talking about something posted in this thread because if you are certainly I haven't noticed anything of dubious nature... if you mean, in general on the boards... I am too polite to answer!!! (of course, in my early days on the boards, only a few months ago I told you girls that my English was being improved... )

Makes sense, of course, but I guess I just can't relate to people not being a fan of Rufus. I just can't believe if they're going to all the trouble of hosting the session they wouldn't try to publicize the event widely and earlier. The release I saw online was only from Wed, not much notice for most people. Did anyone fill out the survey on the streaming site in hopes of winning the signed poster?

My question was if he found it easier or harder to play Paul since he is a father himself. They asked a similar question but more about did he draw on his experience as a father where I wanted to know what was it like for him to have to play someone who has lost a child.
He does get very fidgety in interviews. I've noticed this. In an interview on youtube for a In a Savage Land he was very similar. Sat with one leg resting on the other and frequently picked at his shoes, etc. Shows that he really does not like the limelight and is not doing this for the fame unlike many other so called actors.
Feel so good to have found this site. Usually get who or why are you so mad about him?

Ha! Do you and I have the same mothering instinct to tell him he's going to tip over if he doesn't settle down? Rueful, I can say with hand on heart, I wasn't thinking maternal thoughts for an instant!!! LOL! No, I just found it annoying!! Endearingly so, of course.
