Last night I watched the first episode of Flash Forward, Joseph Fiennes is in it as it looks good. I know it is an American program so I was wondering if anyone on here has seen it. If so what do you think?

dp - strangely enough, we had the first episode shown on the same night as you. I thought it was fantastic and obviously falls into that very special genre of US shows "the outstanding overseas actor pretending to be an american" which has been so popular lately!!!!
I'm looking forward to ep no 2 - such an intruiging story line!!!!! Here's hoping it follows the path of House and not the path of Eleventh Hour, Moonlight or Life which were all stupidly cancelled. I'm assuming though that once the six months has played out and we find out whether everything happens as foretold or not, that the show will come to it's natural end much like (UK) Life on Mars. Please god, don't let them turn it into "Lost"!!!!

i am preparing myself for the shouts of outrage which will follow this BUT I DO NOT LIKE JOSEPH FIENNES OR HIS BROTHER RALPH I find them both a bit creepy and repulsive . I will either switch off or fast forward rather than watch them AND I am very SERIOUS about this

Hahahaha, i'm not really a fan of Ralph either - especially not in Harry Potter. He's exceedingly creepy & repulsive in that!!!!
I've only ever seen Joseph in MMFD&L and an absolutely fantastic prison break movie called The Escapist (a british made indie) in which he plays a totally different character. I'm not usually a fan of this type of movie but it was gripping to the very end with a fantastic ensemble cast including Brian Cox, Dominic Cooper (from Mama Mia), Steven Macintosh and Damian Lewis as the really really, creepy, gay, prison inmate/boss - would recommend it highly!!!!

I watched Thursday's episode last night (yes, Dippy, I did set my DVR to record the whole series!) and really enjoyed it. I hate that Joseph F. is portraying an American and I don't get to hear that lovely accent of his. But other than that, I enjoyed the show a lot. Even though I missed the pilot episode I was able to get right into the plot. And it's quite eerie and suspenseful and I'm liking it a lot! P.S. Fran! You think the Fiennes brothers are creepy? Oh dear. I must be strange because I find them both very sexy.

LOL, Fran! We definitely agree on Roofie-baby! I'm ashamed to say that I had to Google Damian Lewis! I didn't know his name, but I recognized his photo. I definitely give a thumbs up to him! Yummy!

Judy Re Damian ... Over in your part of the world at the moment making quirky 2nd series "Life" ...Have you seen him in Forsyte Saga ,... brit TV series of a classic series of books... If you haven't , try it I'm sure you'll love it . Rupert Graves is in it too ( extreme ops , but don't hold that against him ;)and Chas 2....) also DL was in "Shakespeare Retold Much Ado about Nothing"... Brill To show how strange I am, No 3 on my list after 1)RS 2) DL is someone else you may need to google >>>> Boris Johnson, very eccentric politician and present Mayor of London. Masses of blond hair and bright blue eyes and highly inteligent . very kinky ,that's me Its the hair and the eyes that gets me every time My(other)Beloved :-*is the same. Blond wavy hair which is sadly now darkening and slightly thinning but still has lovely blue eyes Luv Frannie

I saw the Forstye Saga many, many years ago (not the more recent version, though). Can you believe I haven't watched ANY of the other three Shakespeare Retold plays?!?! (Even though one of my other favorite hotties, Richard Armitage, is in Macbeth.) But I've watched TOTS a gazillion times! Now I know I need to check out DL in Much Ado. I Googled Boris Johnson. What an interesting character he is! I loved how Wikipedia said he had "unruly hair." LOL! That's putting it a bit mildly. I definitely find intelligence highly attractive in a man. A Big Brain is mighty attractive to me.

Judy ...Thought Macbeth a bit disappointing .James McAvoy totally miscast but Richard Armitage great .Did Macbeth for my "O"levels ( that is school exams at 16 yrs). wish I could have seen Roofie. Question : what do Rufus Sewell, Damian Lewis , Boris Johnson , and My(other )Beloved have in common ? answer : they can all make me laugh

Rufus was fantastic in Macbeth. He had me feeling sorry for him even though he was a murderer!
