I was very surprised that Flash Forward has been aired here only a few days after it started on your countries. TV series use to arrive with some months of delay to spanish TV. I watched it because you talked about it, and of course to see JF (judy, I agree with you, I find both brothers very sexy but I prefer Joseph... sorry Frannie, we still agree in Rufus and DL, of course ... BTW... I had to google some of those welsh guys you said,... didn't like all of them,... but definetely Wales must enter in my vacation plans one day ;D) About Flash Forward, I liked the first episode, but I have to wait until I see how it developes.

Frannie - the bad news is that Life actually finished filming back in March of this year and the final ever episode screened in the US in April. Damian has been back in the UK for some time now and will be appearing in The Misanthrope in the West End from December to March. Now if only Rufus would sign up for a new play around the same time, i would have absolutely no excuse for not making a trip to the UK!!! (maybe i could come & visit you too ;D)
Judy - in the US, Damian is probably best known for his role as Major Richard Winters in Band of Brothers.
BTW - am still enjoying Flash Forward!!!

Can I put in my two cents? Damian Lewis is OK, but I'm not really into redheads. He is a good actor. I watched Life a few times but didn't really like the plot. The Finnes are just Ok to me. I like their acting, but not into their looks. I guess Rufus spoiled me for other men, however I do like Nathaniel Parker (Inspector Lynley Mysteries) his voice could melt butter and he has that dark and brooding look. Matthew McFayden is also a hunk and I am enjoying MI 5 (Spooks) on our local PBS station. I have to say, I find most British actors appealing, if not their looks then their acting ability, like Philip Glenister, not really handsome but something definitely about him keeps me enthralled when he's on the screen. Going to bed now. Pitzel Ps. I forgot to add I am also watching Flash Forward and even have my Mom watching it. I really hope it comes to a plausible conclusion and not some half-baked ending. But for now I am enjoying it.

Me too pitzel - it's getting more and more intruiging every week, but i just hope they actually know how it's going to end and it doesn't just go off on some half arsed trajectory like Lost, where they just made up the plot as they went along!!!! In regards to Life, i think that you had to watch it from the very first episode to truly "get" it. It had such a strong backstory and the conspiracy arc was really what made the show a cut above the average police procedural. Redheads aren't my type either, but i fell in love with Charlie Crews and his expressive pants & lip cleavage, and went on to discover the wonderful work of DL. Dammit, i NEVER watch war movies, but i sat & sobbed my way through all 10 DVDs of Band of Brothers and have never been the same since. I stand by my opinion that Ms McCrory is the luckiest woman in the world (but if i were her i'd be having a bit on the side with a certain green eyed ex!!!) ;D Am enjoying the new series of Nip/Tuck - it is so very, very tongue in cheek and (of course) my favourite Aussie plastic surgeon, the sexy Julian McMahon, makes me LMFAO!!!!

Kerry have just read on amazon UK that Life series 2 is on order for dec. Guess what is on my Christmas prezzie list. ;D As to your " visit" to see RS and DL on stage in london IF ONLY..... We could really paint the town red(hair) or green(eyes) or both dream on, cariad Pitzel I love Inspector Lynley and Nat Parker although he is a bit further down my list .Have you read the books? I really love them too even though it bugs me when I read the description of Tommy as being Blonde as I see only a dark haired Nat and have you noticed his sidekick Havers is in one of the Shakespeare Retold plays .. Midsummer's night dream. She is also in a Beeb frothy series called Mistresses.. have you got that over there sheer chick flick fun..implausible but fun

I just saw in the news today that Flash Forward has been picked up for a second season! Yaaay! Oh, and Numbat, if you haven't seen Julian McMahon's appearance on the Graham Norton show a couple of years ago, you must see it. He was on there with Joan Rivers and it was hilarious. (Ooh, I just found a not-so-good copy of it on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOaRBJROxJQ ) Unfortunately this little clip doesn't include the part where Graham took him down to the front row of the audience and had him squeeze a woman's breasts to tell if they were real or fake!

Frannie... I do get Mistresses here and I did watch it. I am hoping for a second season to appear on BBC America. Judy...Thanks for the link to Graham Norton. I also watch Nip/Tuck and love Julian. Glad about Flash Forward, hope they can maintain a second season. Does that mean we will not know what happened to everyone this season?

Frannie, we have Graham Norton here too - in fact i watched him last night with Sharon & Ozzy Osborne and Ricky Gervais - what a crackup!!!! I think Rufus is going to have to put a bit of effort in to get his play started by March as i think Damian's finishes about the middle. I'll be mighty miffed if i have to come to London twice as i hate flying - especially for 18 hours straight!!!! Come on Roof - get your act into gear, lol.
Thanks judy for the link - very funny!!!! Had a look around at some other clips and got led to some questionable gay oriented clips involving Julian in the shower!!!! Please don't tell me he's some sort of gay icon (or worse!!!!).
BTW, just watched the new production of Wuthering Heights with Tom Hardy - oh my lord!!! Knew that i'd seen him in something before and a check on IMDB showed that he had been in Band of Brothers and Colditz (with DL and Sophia Myles) but off the top of my head i can't place in him either. He was excellent, but on the other hand i did keep picturing Rufus as Heathcliffe - i'm just amazed he never has played Heathcliffe as he would have been absolutely perfect. Sigh.............................
(hahaha, just looked at my Colditz DVD and realised Tom Hardy was the main character - geez, must have been too busy watching a certain red head to take any notice of him. Must go back and watch it from a different perspective!!!!)

Oh yes, we get Graham Norton over here on BBCAmerica channel! He's hilarious. I love it when he sends a camera crew to cover what one of his fans happens to be doing live during the taping of his show. Some guy had written in telling Graham he was going to be getting his back waxed, so Graham sent a camera crew to cover it. I couldn't stop laughing. (Graham talked the guy into getting more than just his back waxed, too!) LOL! I wish we got Stephen Fry's show, but I haven't heard a peep about it. Stephen's one of my all-time favorites.
