GE2 has asked me to let everyone know that she has major problems with her computer and won't be able to come on the board until it is fixed. She says next Wednesday is the earliest someone will be able to look at it, and then who knows how long until it will be repaired. She will be sorely missed! (As well as missing the board, too, I'm sure.) Good luck, GE2!

Many thanks to 7Sis for letting everyone know that I'd be incommunicado for a while. Hopefully all the computer woes are sorted out now (touch wood), so I'm back on the prowl! Did you miss me? Hope you haven't given Sheriff Uke too many heart attacks. Hmm? Maybe I'd better mosey on over to the Cap-its and see for myself...... ;D |

YAAAAY!!!  Welcome back! I have to tell you about my dream last night. I was at work in a large room filled with cubicles, and all of you were there. No particular names were attached to people, but it was all of the Board gals, and we were getting paid do do all our nonsense on the Boards. We dealt with people who called in, responding to messages we posted, and then we would talk to them on the phone and post back. (It's a little fuzzy, exactly why we'd be paid for this, but it made sense at the time.) However, we were all worried and upset--we kept getting calls from someone whose name came up on caller ID as "Prisoner," and we knew it was a convict, and none of us wanted to deal with him. We kept asking, "when is GE2 gonna get back?" and looking at her empty desk. We knew she'd know how to block the guy. This went on for a while, and we were getting more and more worried, as the convict actually sent some sort of weird, stalkerish present in the mail. But suddenly GE2 walked in and announced "I'm back, and I've put him on the blocked list, and he won't be bothering you any more." We were all so happy, and I said, "I'm so glad, because this is the best job I've ever had." Shortly after that, I woke up. I know this sounds like I made it all up, but I swear it's true, and you should believe me, because if I ever fabricate a dream, it's going to have Rufus in it. Also, do you think this means I need some time away from here? |

Thanks for the welcome back, guys - I'm soooooo glad to be here! Rueful, are you sure you didn't eat some dodgy cheese before bed last night? That dream sounds hilarious! (A little time away? Nah....I prescribe an extra Ru-vid before bed tonight, that'll cure ya.) Oh, but, hey, getting PAID to do what we do here? I like the sound of that! Uke, could that be arranged? ;D |

of course we missed you!
and we been bad, uke had to almost moderate us! had to divert our attention with comics. and it worked!
