These two could be twins, couldn't they? (It took me several episodes of GA to realize that was NOT Javier Bardem ) I like both of them. Interesting, manly faces.

He's very like Javier isn't he!? I saw this chappy in "P.S. I Love You" what a cheesy movie! I've not seen him in anything else. I didn't know his name. He just needs to work on the accent a bit and we wouldn't know them apart . He even has the same neck - unbelieveable!

I have to mention that unfortunately for these two guys, I have only seen them in not very nice roles, Javier in No Country for Old Men and Jeffrey only recently in the disturbing thriller, The Resident, but must admit that at first I too thought that Jeffrey resembled Javier. He even has the same neck - unbelieveable! How close have you been looking at these guys?!

Bully for you, Nell. The world needs more self-sacrifice like yours.

Is it a fangirl sin if I have strayed from the Rufus path to drool over Gregory Peck in some old, old movies? I mean, he's no actual competition for Rufus considering he's been dead for a while ... but he was a fine piece of eye candy! And I love those suits and hats men used to wear Actually, I wish Rufus did more movies set in early to mid-20th century, just for the clothing

Nice list PGG!
I think you are forgiven Kate. I do enjoy some of those older movies with men in suits.

I have to confess that I too have made a list of favourite eye candy. First and above all Rufus * * * * * Damian Lewis Rupert Graves[If you haven't seen Damian and Rupert together in The Forsyte Saga you really should} Cary Grant { why don't they make all Cary's old films with Rufus in his part } Sean Connery (No other Bond but him) Pierce Brosnan ( Yeah I know he was Bond but sex on the stairs in the Thomas Crown Affair !!!! Gregory Peck Colin Firth Johnny Depp I make no excuse what so ever for my taste in good looking men . BUT In a class of their own Fred Astaire for sheer enchantment and glorious smile Tom Hollander for sweetness, cuddliness and charm Quote from PGG and Kygal ( I do enjoy some of those older movies with men in suits. ) Man in Suit ? no need for old movies >>>>>>>>>>ZEN

The suits were one of the non-Rufus reasons I loved Zen so much We have a few favourites in common, Frannie. Colin Firth and Rupert Graves aren't bad either, and I absolutely agree with your Cary Grant comment. Sean Connery has aged very graciously. I like his Bond but I find him a lot more attractive in his later roles. OK, and when we're at it, I'll confess my other minor sins: Ewan McGregor, Jeremy Northam, Daniel Craig, Richard Armitage, Jean Reno, Adrien Brody, Dustin Hoffman, Robert de Niro. But don't worry, Rufus. You'll never be surpassed by any of them.

I was always fond of Claude Rains, specially in Mrs. Skeffington. He was such a wonderful actor in just about everything he did. And Joel McCrea was pretty fine and considered quite the ladies man in his day. Great little flick with him starred Jean Arthur (a fine actress in her own right) called The More the Merrier...a comedy and lots of fun.

Not to change the subject, but....I watched a performance by The Who from 1970 last night, and I must confess, I'm as much in love with Roger Daltrey now as when I was 14, even though he is old enough to be my father (in fact, he has children older than me.) Good lord, what a fine specimen of a man he was (and I still think he's cute even now at 68...)
