The Further Adventures of Doctor Syn
The first series of Doctor Syn proved very popular with BBC 7 listeners, so we commissioned a second series. Russell Thorndike's swashbuckling 18th century adventurer tackles pirates, highwaymen and dastardly spies in this gripping ten part thriller read by Rufus Sewell (pictured above). It was produced in Northern Ireland by Lawrence Jackson.
Monday 17th - Friday 28th December at 9.30am, 8.30pm and 1.30am

Woo hoo! That's MONDAY!!!!!

For people not aware though, you can actually use the Listen Again facility and listen to it anytime up to a week after its first broadcast. It's also very easy to record it for posterity if you want but you will need a (free) application to do it (mp3mymp3, audacity to name but two options), you cant just record it through real player.

well, i seldom listen to the radio but wonder if it's possible at all to pick up BBC 7 to listen to the series from Poland? ..must follow quoll's advice & use Listen Again facility (it 'd be sooo lovely to hear Rufus' voice in Dr Syn-i didn't listen to the first part of series:(

Herrmannka, on Maxx's Web site she has the audio to the first part of Dr. Syn. It can be found at this address: www.roofsewell.com/audio.htm I'm not sure if it's the entire first part or not. (Is it, Maxx?) It was originally in 10 episodes. It was a lot of fun to listen to. There are some other Rufus audios there, too. Do take a look. (And a listen!)

thx sevensisters- i will listen to that tonight!! has anyone listened to today's part 1 of Dr Syn part deux?? any comments ? .....i just looked at the number of other audio files with Rufus available at www.roofsewell.com/audio.htm-quite impressing!! must check it all asap
