Hi All

I have been loitering with intent for the last month since discovering this message board. Just had the courage to come out of the closet - so to speak.
I found this board after seeing on twitter the info on Nocturne for July. After madly searching every site I knew for confirmation I discovered the board through roofsewell.com. Thanks to you all I logged on first thing Monday morning and purchased my front seat ticket ! Yay !
Fingers crossed for that one.
I'm so glad to find a bunch of like minded people. The up to date info is also a godsend. I can now talk without fearing the rolling of eyes, and the labels e.g. obsessed, besotted.
Anyway sorry about the babbling on, pleased to meet you all.

Please tell us what work of his attracted you to Rufus, then have a good old look around (although it sounds like you have already!) and do join us in the Games.

You can babble away to your heart's content here - we're all like-minded people, so no eye-rolling....well, maybe sometimes at what Numbat puts!!

I first noticed Rufus in EH and thought where do I know that handsome hunk from. My long suffering hubby came up with it first - "wasn't he in Knights Tale". As EH went on I thought I'd really like to see what else Rufus can do and so I googled and You tubed and really liked the look of Taming of the Shrew. TOTS was fantastic, still my favourite. I enforce it on anyone that enters my home ! And so I was hooked.
Another favourite of mine is Charles 2 and also Martha meet Frank, Daniel and Laurence. oh and Tristan and Isolde and Dangerous Beauty.
Other stuff I've seen are (actually just looked through my stack of DVD's and thought s@!* they're right I am obsessed):
Vinyan, Dark City, John Adams, Paris Je Taime, The Holiday,, Illuminata, Higher Love (Uncorked), Extreme Ops, Amazing Grace, She Creature, Carrington, Bless the Child, A Man of No Importance, Middlemarch, The Illusionist, In a Savage Land, Helen of Troy, The Woodlanders, Cold Comfort Farm and sadly Arabian Nights (I guess he was desparate for money with the last one !0
Regarding the avatar, I did notice someone else had that pic, unfortunately I'm a numpty when it comes to technology and and therefore totally incapable of adding my own picture So selected this one from the pick lst. Will change when finally figure it out.
Thanks again for welcoming me to this wonderful message board. It's had me tittering away on many an occassion. I'm glad I've dare to show my face at last.

If you do want to modify it, click on the link to "Profile" under the Rooftop logo above. Then click on "Modify your profile" and you can change your avatar. You just cut and paste the picture's url in the box (you might have to change the size a bit--I just experimented for awhile til it was right). If you don't know how to get a picture's url: Right click the picture and then go to Properties. Copy (Ctrl+C) the url (address) and paste it (Ctrl+V) in the box in your profile.
