I will procure it by some means. I got an email from HBO just the other day. I think I was busy and trashed it. Perhaps I should dig it out and have another look...

That's a lot of episodes! I wonder how many of them have a Rufus in it?

You can watch The Making of John Adams on the HBO webpage: www.hbo.com/films/johnadams/?ntrack_para1=insidehbo1_textThe only Rufus moment is about 7:25 minutes in and it's very brief. He says a few words and it's a distance shot. I know he said his part was cut quite a bit, but hopefully it's more than this! Rai

Catdishy, Pattirose and any other Canadians on here, according to a post on the "John Adams" IMDB board, this is being shown at the same time as in the US: "The Movie Network and Movie Central, which both show all of HBO's and Showtime's series, will air it in Canada on the same nights it airs on HBO in the US."www.themovienetwork.ca/johnadams/ www.moviecentral.ca/series/John_Adams/

Anyone watch last night? Any commentary? I liked Laura Linney. I'm waiting for Rufus' "14 seconds" ....can I fast forward?

Rufus's photo comes up if you click on part 5 here: www.hbo.com/films/johnadams/I wonder if that's now the only episode he's in, or if it's the one he's in the most?

Been watching for the last four weeks and still no sight of Ruf. The first episode(s) were parts 1 & 2 combined. Subsequent weeks have been only 1 episode installments. We're going into week 5 this Sunday and Ruf has yet to make an appearance.
Stephen Dillane is wonderful as Jefferson as are the other cast members, although he is a standout so far, it's avery quiet performance, but I'm still waiting for Ruf to show up.

I think the series started off great, but I've been bloody bored the past two eps. Enough of John Adams & Abigail in bed already. Hoping for Ten Dollar Al to show up this week. Rai

Letterman had a series of clips from the episodes thus far - looks like all Adams did was to cough his g*ts up! Charming!!!

I'm with you Rai ---I'm pretty bored --I have not watched the 4th episode yet .....but watching PG sweat and be sick for almost an hour was more than I could take. I'm not to impressed considering I hear the book was great. And I keep thinking they probably cut Rufus out because he made everyone else look bad...oh to think what he could have done with the role--bad script or not
