Hello girls, good to be here... and not being the only one a bit mad I'm from Germany and discovered Rufus only a few months ago when I watched "Tristan and Isolde" (which still is my favorite... it simply blew me off) Thanks to the creators of this board! Have a good time!

Hello, Bluehorse, and welcome to Rufusland!! A lot of people loved Rufus in T & I, so Marke's a definite favourite here. I hope you've taken time to have a look around the site - plenty of pics and interviews in Media, lots of fun in the Games section, and please check out our sister site www.roofsewell.com (no longer being updated) for some multimedia stuff. I hope you enjoy it here - great to have you with us! (Only a "bit" mad? You'll be much worse soon!! ;D)

Thank you, GreenEyesToo,
well, as for the "bit" mad... that was understatement. Never have gone so mad at an actor in my whole life (means, this is the first time in almost 50 years!!!). Yes, I already had a look around, really wonderful stuff to read and watch. Thanks to all of you!

Thx again to all of you, very warm welcome! Just one question... if I am just curious about a few things, do I have to open a new thread? Or is there an existing one where I could place some stupid questions? Well, all sort of questions about Rufus CANNOT be stupid, anyway don't you think?

Welcome, bluehorse! Rufus stole the show in T+I. What a great introduction to his talent. I hope you have a good time here.

If we're doing piccies of Marke, i will give you this one because i think he's beautiful with his sexy, sexy, short, short hair (as in Charles II - minus wig of course!!!) ;D I don't understand why wichi likes that picture of me with the terrible wig..............and because i can't help myself ;D Isolde: Marke, your sword's digging in my back againMarke: I keep telling you darling, i don't have my sword...........< runs away quickly before GE2 gets here ;D >

Hi bluehorse, I'll join everyone in welcoming you to the fun and games. Please forgive numbat for her naughtiness - rest assured you'd never catch me posting (or thinking) anything like that ! I think we should give numbat a big hand for her bravery though ! Here you go numbat and a lovely pic of the gorgeous Marke looking all smug and loved up !

Thx a lot for the nice pics. It really feels good to be with people just as mad as me. And you are really funny, too. Love that. Well, then I go ahead with my questions, if you don't mind. First of all some technical things. I can't manage to put a pic into my profile (the avatar). I tried but it does not work. Same for posting pics in my reply. How do I copy an image from my computer into this box? Sorry, normally I am not a computer blond... but Ok, and then a few other questions I have on my mind since the Rufus fever got me: Do you think he has done something with his lazy eye? I found in the latest films there is less difference between his two magnificent eyes. Or is it just that he does not work with a hangover anymore? Second one: Do you think that in the first part of Charles, the one with the long hair, it was his own hair or was that also a wig? It seems so natural. BTW, I could not tell what I like more: the short hair fits him so well. But his curls... well... Well, for the moment this should be enough questions Thank you for your patience... in case these questions have already been asked in some thread, please excuse me, there are so many and I have not read them all yet. Have a great day!

Ok bluehorse, will help you out as best i can: Avatar - on your "amend profile" page there is a box to post in the url of the photo you want to use. As i understand it (and i may be wrong) the address must be a .jpg or .prn image so you won't be able to use those photos on your own computer unless they are coming from a photobucket a/c or another website. I made my own on my photobucket a/c as did judy i think, but most people use one from the gallery at www.roofsewell.com/home.htmImages - when you type in a reply (using proper reply, not shortcut), you will see smilies and tags above the message box. Click on the one that looks like a little photo ("insert image") and paste the url of the image you want to use into the gap in the middle. Again, as with avatar instructions it must have a proper address, not be one off of your hard drive. Eyes - my take on it is this. He has never had a lazy eye. In his early roles it was never evident, as it is not now. In the middle years, he did appear to have some kind of eye issue but it is hard to pinpoint exactly what the problem was. As you said, i think it may be that he doesn't work with a hangover anymore. In any case, it appears to have resolved itself. Even if it hadn't though, most people here wouldn't give a toss - it never has made any difference to his immense talent and is just a sign that he is in fact a genuine human being rather than a perfection obsessed hollywood autobot. Charles II - his actual hair was the close crop. The longer hair at the beginning was a wig (as was his longer hair at the beginning of T&I) Phew ;D And thankyou Nell, as he would look if I was anywhere near him

One other thing when you do your avatar, Bluehorse, you might need to change the sizes a bit so he doesn't looked squashed! (oh, BTW, Numbat and Nell: )
