I can assure you (as someone who is just past 50) that my 40s were my favorite decade so far in life. Really. No joking. That's the 10-year period in which my self-esteem started going up even though my weight didn't go down.

And I got to the point that I really don't give a fig about what anyone else thinks of me.

Sorry i haven't left a better message but we have been out for a lovely day at a national park and come home to find a burst water pipe and our fully carpeted house ankle deep in water. Just waiting for insurance people to come & look at it and then we may be staying somewhere else for a couple of days.

So that will limit my rooftop, and my writing and all things that involve having any fun as we have to clean out the house, work out insurance, get new carpets and furniture etc etc.

But i am thinking of you. Will send you a proper message once we're sorted.
