It's still the one and only decent solo pic I've taken.  Rufus signed me an autograph on it moments before this pic was taken



Maybe you all didn't see this before? The signing -  My friend took it and sent it to me some time later.

Nevertheless, thanks to PGG for highlighting the lack of copyright issue. As I've said in the past. Credit should be given when credit is due. I've had a couple of pics 'borrowed' too!!!!!

You must have read my mind LTM. I was just thinking I must thank PGG for bringing the pic to my attention. Forgive my rudeness. I get very excited

Hubby would have me issue a charge (had they been rude & abusive I probably would have - I do have principles ) but I was just flattered anyone would think my pic good enough to repost. (Even if the sh*t person did take off my signature ).

So thanks PGG I had a wonderful trip down memory lane. As you can tell .

I'll set the scene - the little get-together was pre-arranged by yours truly. Rufus dressed "actorly" for the occasion his words not mine . A few of us stood around chatting for a while, occasionally Rufus was called upon to sign something which he did and then wandered back to join us (he was standing on my left). I lifted my camera to take a pic but he was talking so I lowered it. Then he put up his hand and asked "just a moment please" to still the braying crowd and turned to face me with that lovely smile and voila my only solo competent pic was taken .  (And there I go again!  )  Glad you all like the pic.  It has special memories for me...

Rufus certainly does seem to have that classic look, which so easily suits black & white. (More so now, than back in his younger days, I think)
