Hi everyone,
My friend was going to go with me to see Rock 'n' Roll tomorrow, March 2, but she is sick and can't go anymore. If anyone wants my extra ticket, it's yours. I just want it to go to someone who'd really enjoy the show so if you want it, or know anyone who would like it, please let me know!

Oh Man!!! I was in NY and wasn't doing much on sunday and would have loved to go and see the show again. Damn internet connection wouldn't work in the hotel! If I had only known. Did you still go? Did you enjoy it?

Oh, I'm sorry you couldn't go, it would've been lovely to go with someone! I had a great time -- I'd seen the play once before and liked it, but this time I truly loved it.. I think it helped having the time to think everything over before seeing it again. Roof was really brilliant and I'm sad he won't be on Broadway much longer. I mostly liked him from period dramas before I saw this so I'm really impressed with his range now. I love the end of the play; it just makes me happy. I was thinking of saying hi to Rufus afterwards but ultimately decided against it -- which I guess is weird for me since usually I am determined to do such things, ha -- but I'd already met him before and there were these girls who wanted a picture with him and he was being so nice to them, I was content to observe from afar. Oh, and I had to get a picture of this sign before they take it down: I agree completely

I was there that night! I can see the black car in the pic that Rufus left in. The one with his name on it. My son and I were standing by our hotel door. We had met him 3 times that weekend and I really didn't want to bother him again. He was very nice and accomidating each and everytime. I had promised him tho, saturday night, that it was the last time. He said something sweet but I can't remember what exactly. Anyway, I got a picture of Alice and my son sunday night. (I had totally flaked on the picture the night before- my son really wanted one with her) We saw Rufus get in the car and watched as he drove by and gave us a wave and a thumbs up before the car turned and drove up 8th ave. You should've come over and said "hi". lol
I'll be getting my pics tomorrow (thursday) and I'll be posting them in the RnR thread.

That is a really cool photo and a nice memoir, fadedhour. I can't believe it's closing this weekend. Seriously, I literally haven't accepted it yet.
I wonder what they will do with the marquees. It would a shame if they were thrown away. I know of one actor (that being Raul Esparza in my avatar) who took the huge sign of his show home after closing and hung it in his living room.

Uke, I definitely think Rufus should clip that "Rufus Sewell is captivating!"
