Hi - I am HippinsChick - thought I had better finally say a formal hello. Have been lurking around the forum for a while now ... and it is blatently obvious you are a cool bunch so have decided to make this a formal hello..instead of quietly observing things from afar. Have been a Rufus fan for quite a few years now - but for some reason this has stepped up a gear to full blown Rufusness and I have been consuming all things Rufus for the past few weeks. I have also been enjoying the lovely fan fiction - keep it coming girls !!!

My fav Rufus works so far are TOTS and Triston and Isolde - I like a short haired affectionate Rufus the best.

Have just managed to get hold of a copy of the full set of EH - so am currently treating myself to an episode every couple of days - inbetween the footy matches with the better arf.

So a big hello to everyone from windy, beautiful Yorkshire.

I constantly reassure myself that he is much too busy to do such a thing - and even if he had time i'm sure it wouldn't be his cup of tea!!!

Anyhow, welcome HC. Good to hear from you. You're so lucky to be watching EH and other Rufus goodies for the first time. It's so wonderful to be on that journey of discovery!!!

And thanks for having the perseverence to go back and read all mine (and Frannie's) stuff. It's getting quite long now, but i hope you went back and started at the beginning with A Warm Weekend. It's all chronological and might not make a lot of sense if you picked it up half way through. If you need any help with figuring it out please let me know.

Aaaah Jacob, if only they'd let me write the scripts to EH, it would have all been so different

I hope you didn't end up paying a small fortune for EH like our Frannie did. I'll bet it's not the first time you've seen the series though as it aired twice here in the uk.

I'd be interested to know what else you've seen. Myself & 1 or 2 others like TOTS. It's brilliant - if you haven't seem it I'd highly recommend it and it's available in region 2 but as part of a 2 disc set of 4 Stakespeare Retold productions. Don't let the Shakespeare bit put you off - it's not at all "To be or not to be, that is the question". If you get my drift.

Anyway, I'm pleased you've come out of the closet. Great to see you here. ;D

I was laughing when I read that because yesterday I just finished reading all your stories. I haven't done the last evenings anything other than reading your great stories. I love them. I love them all and I can't wait to read the next one.

re Eleventh hour - I dont pay for satallite TV - so I am an eleventh hour rookie - so having a great time catching up. Managed to find a DVD company in Hong Kong 'DVD COLLECTS" that ships the full set to the UK for less than £28 including postage - and for some reason - no customs charge - so result there (let me know anybody who would like details of the company - DVD arrived in about a week.

Managed to catch up on alot of output over the last few weeks - so far seen;

uncorked (loved this quirky film even though I cant stand Minnie Driver !!)
Dark city - dissapointed with this if I am honest
Tristan & Isolde - my joint favorite
TOTS - magic !!! Taped this when it was on tv in UK many years ago and have had it stored on the hard drive ever since - often watch it. Even the better arf was impressed by the Rufus in this one - think he has the hots for Shirley !!!
Illusionist - really enjoyed this - clever plot
Amazing Grace - enjoyed
Vinyan - watched on Youtube - may even buy this as did enjoy it a lot
Eleventh hour - on episode 4 so far
Charles - loved this one - will rewatch this many times too - Rufus is great in this
Cold comfort farm - bought from Amazon and it appears to have gone walk about - so still to watch.....will turn up at some point - note to self stop drooling over Rufus and get some housework done ....
Dangerous Beauty - loved this - classic 'chick flick' even though I prefer 'Roof' without curls.

Want Savage land - dont want to go the youtube route really with this one - but its a tricky one to get hold of....looking forward to that one.
Cheated on the woodlanders - youtubed to the Roof bits.......

And thats about all for now.

Have you guys seen the youtube clip of Rufus meeting fans after the Vinyan Q&A - havnt noticed it on the board anywhere...but may have missed it. Its hilarious - as Roof is so sweet to all the fans - even when they have no idea who he is
