Hello everybody I stumbled across Rufus (if only that were true ) while watching A knight's tale. I have to confess I didn't really notice him ( ) untill the war scene ... then I was just about to get up and slap Blondie from his horse myself. After a lot of surfing and a lot of doubting I finally registered. So I may be behaving like a hormone struck teenager ... there are worse ways to de-stress after a day's work

Hi Veerke! Welcome to our little corner of craziness! I think most of us around here are reliving our hormonal teen years where Rufus is concerned! Judy

Hi, Veerke. I see you're already joining in the games, so you are bound to have fun. You and your enthusiasm are both quite welcome here!
I also saw Rufus in A Knight's Tale once and took note--much sexier than that Ledger guy. That was the first time I bothered to associate his name, which I had heard, with a face. I forgot all about him until Eleventh Hour. Then I fell HARD! Still have not gotten up yet.

Hi Verkee Welcome to the Rooftop. I too first saw Rufus in Knights Tale and then really sat up and took notice when I saw him again in EH. Do tell us what else you have seen and which are your favourites. There's nothing we love more than a good discusssion about Rufus (except new pics that is - or course !) I too behave like a hormonal teenager. You'll fit in just great here. See - they like me more than you blondie !

We can all be hormonal teenagers together. I will never forget seeing an advert for him a while ago (I had fallen for him years before) and as soon as I heards hiuvoice I rushed into the front room and looked at the tv with a big grin on my face and Hubby said he'd never seen me move so fast. Hubby tells me to grow up but actually he is very understanding and even he (begrudgingly) amits Rufus is very talented. By the way welcome

So I may be behaving like a hormone struck teenager ... Ha-ha, that's normal behaviour around here!! ;D A big welcome to you, Veerke - so glad you decided to join us, and thank you for joining in the games already. Have fun exploring - media is a good place to start, for lots of pics and interviews!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I haven't seen a lot of his movies yet. I've only just "discovered" him. A waste of time, I know. But I intend to make up for it.
I saw "A Knight's Tale" (obviously) (I'm ready to be unhorsed now Count Adhemar.) Hubby likes this movie too (his favorite: Watt), so I get my share of Rufus now and then.
I also saw "Taming of the Shrew" => Hilarious!!! This one made me fall for him completely ... and I'm still bouncing.
Also saw "Tristan and Isolde". If I were Isolde, I would cry too ... tears of pure happiness. Our DVD-player was acting up and stopped playing at the moment Isolde tells Marke when she fell for Tristan. You know ... the part where you can actually see his heart break. The thing just stopped playing! Hubby thought that very funny (not for long héhé)
The next in line is probably "In a savage land". I think it's avable through Youtube. I very much want ot see "Vinyan" (sounds like the sort of movie Hubby and I usually watch).
I just realised I also saw "Bless the Child", but a very long time ago. I didn't know Rufus was in it (my only defense: I was very young then)

Veerke, you must see Higher Love/Uncorked/At Sachem Farm for Cute Rufus. Oh, and Charles II - you have to see that, too! Just to show how much I still need to "learn": it took me about half an hour before I figured out Higher Love, Uncorked and At Sachem Farm is one and the same movie Thanks for the tip. There on my list for the weekend ;D Rufus is not very famous in Belgium. Well not with the people I know. Or maybe they're just hush about it so they won't have to share I forgot one yesterday. I also saw Amazing Grace. What's with the wig??? The make-up people sure tried hard at making such him ugly ... Still his gorgeous smile just breaks through all camouflage
