Rufus is not very famous in Belgium. Well not with the people I know. Veerke, the same here in Germany. No one of my friends know him! Unbelievable, right? So I'm very glad about all the girls/women on this board. Finally I found people who understand me in this particular case.

Veerke you and I seem to have the same tastes in movies. I watched In a Savage Land on Youtube but recently got the DVD in region 1 and enjoyed that. I agree with GE2 re Charles 2 - that would be high on my list (probably 2nd after Taming of The Shrew for sheer performance). I also enjoyed Martha Meet Frank Daniel & Laurence (I think it's called The Very Thought of You in the US) rubbish title but great comedy. One more that I have to mention for sheer swooning is Dangerous Beauty (Honest Courtesan) I wasn't sure I was going to like this initially. I put in on just to watch the first few minutes, and before I knew it, it had finished. I wish you many pleasant hours of viewing.

Hey veerke!!!
So sorry for not saying hello before - didn't mean to be rude but I've been a bit preoccupied with Lord Marke over the last couple of days and haven't really been on the board!
Anyhow, i have to tell you how envious i am that you are just starting on your Rufus jouney of discovery. It's so exciting to watch something for the first time and discover how wonderful he is in it - charming, funny, emotional, subtle and always, always sexy (and yes, that includes Albert in Downloading Nancy!!!)
Please, please, please watch IASL and Vinyan (two of my very favourites) and make sure you get that DVD player working to see the rest of T&I (another of my favourites). Ok, ok, they're all my favourites (even Bless The Child is growing on me and i used to hate it - proof that i no longer have any sense of perspective whatsoever!!!).
Just imagine, you too will be as hopeless as us soon enough veerke.
Enjoy the journey ;D

Just to show how much I still need to "learn": it took me about half an hour before I figured out Higher Love, Uncorked and At Sachem Farm is one and the same movie Oh, sorry, Veerke! I put all three titles as I never know what title is used where.

I agree with GE2 re Charles 2 - that would be high on my list (probably 2nd after Taming of The Shrew for sheer performance). Started watching Charles II yesterday. Liking it a lot already, but you're right Taming of the Shrew is still better. Never thought a man could be that sexy in a skirt and stockings. And he walks around on those stiletto's like it's nothing (I am SO jealous, I usualy end up with a sprained ankle). Have a nice day!

One does have to have priorities ;D (even Bless The Child is growing on me and i used to hate it - proof that i no longer have any sense of perspective whatsoever!!!). I know the feeling ... and loving it I definitely plan to watch Viyan, but I haven't found it anywhere so far. The guy in the video-rental shop looked at me as if I came from mars when I asked about it. BTW Can't see anything wrong with Albert in Downloadin Nancy ... except maybe the sweater. Take it off!

Veereke - I actually think the long hair suits Rufus you know. Not the wig that's supposed to be a wig, but the wig that's suppose to be his own long hair. He'd play a really good hippy - maybe that's a new type of role for him (a really sexy hippy obviously ;D). I also liked the really short hair.... and well probably everything in between as long as it's his own hair for those !
Ah hem ! back to the acting now. Apart from the fact that Rufus is gorgeous and a fabulous actor that totally commands the screen - I think one of the joys of watching him is that he's so diverse and everything he's in is different from the last.
Happy viewing !

I would go for the short hair ... but would definitely not say no to the long hair eiter ;D I went from Lord Marke to Petruchio and then to Thomas Clarckson. Yes, very diverse indeed
