Just read the book 'Jesus love you'. Written for the not-so-religeous people. If it should ever been filmed you can see easily why Rufus would blend in perfectly - just read the Jesus description...
Oh, this eyes... Oh, this voice... Oh, this charisma... - Oh, this bud...
Read it in one day. Made me laugh hysterically and cry in the next moment. And the tormant of being half man and half the son of God with a mission could be the acting challenge Rufus likes.

Germanlady, while watching opening shots of Rufus in Chas II , I had exactly the same thought. He would make a wonderful Christ

I'd love to see him play Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre. Talk about a tortured, brooding, complex (and SEXY!) character.

Tarzan. I would love to see him swinging from a vine in a loincloth. Can't you just picture it, LOL? ?

Common sense is saying: GET OUT!! Hormones are saying: Yum yum gimme some! Guess who's winning? ;D
Or Valkyri. He would be so much better than Tom Cruise.

I thought the same thing to start with veerke!!! How disappointing that it wasn't We'd all like to start that thread but somehow i think GE2 might have something to say about it (yeah, like which bit she'd like ) And the Rufusitis gets bad. Very bad.

I'd like to see Rufus playing Claude Monet.
Monet's life had so many ups and downs (first permanent lack of money, later fame and wealth, death of his wives, eye cataract - the worst thing that can happen to a painter) - I think only an excellent actor like Rufus can perform these circumstances convincingly. Subtle emotions should be shown- it would be a wonderful part for him.

Professor Snape in Harry Potter. I can just see him walking the corridors billowing his coat and giving HP the stare <shudder>

Yeah, he'd make a good Snape. I think he'd make a good Lucius Malfoy too.
The more of his work I watch, the more I like him better in period drama's than in modern day drama's. He seems to have the "looK' down for someone in the past, like Lorde Mark, Aggie, Adhemar, Thomas Clarkson and Tom Builder. I know he's complained about that in interviews but he's just good at it and I hope he continues with those kind of roles. I am looking forward to "The Tourist" and "Zen" however!

Couldn't agree more. He would also fit in perfectly in "Rome" (Lucius Vorenus). Yep ... a skirt again

Saw a few Elvis-reports yesterday: the sexy performances, the larger-than-life-image and the man behind it.
An interesting part in my opinion... And I would love to see him 'performing'...
