As I've posted everywhere I could think of  , I heard from Rufus yesterday. Yes, he's finished filming the EH pilot and had a great time. Yes, he has an American accent and assures me it's for the best. Okay, I'm fine with whatever you say, Oh Lovely One.  He's now taking a little time to rest up and hopefully CBS will call him back for a series to be filmed. Please please please!! He stopped in NYC on his way back to the UK and was very nostalgic for Rock'n'Roll. US TOO ROOF! Rai |

I hope they'll do some more shooting back in Vancouver after the series airs in September. 3 days just wasn't long enough!

You really are a lucky gal, Rai and so privileged to have contact with the gorgeous Roof! Will definitely be keeping an eye out for him around the coffee houses of Soho, as we all know he enjoys his lattes!

Thanks Rai for sending this info thru to us. I can't wait to see the pilot and I hope it does well so we can see him on the telly every week. Oh that would be nice. Yeah, I know I'm not alone with that hope.

Funny thing happened today. I went to Opening Day at Fenway Park to see MY Boston Red Sox get their World Series rings and I bought some Cracker Jacks and the prize was a little puzzle to put together and guess who the mystery face was - Alexander Hamilton! ;D
Anyway, to answer your questions as to how I know Rufus, we started an email correspondence over 10 years ago when Grace put up the Vue2sewell webpage and Rufus wrote to it. He was filming Illuminata at the time in NYC. We thought he was an imposter and she asked me what to do. I wrote him and quizzed him mercilessly until - well - it turned out to be Rufus after all! So we started up an email friendship
We met face to face when he was doing Macbeth in Sheffield and have met up whenever possible since then. He's a lovely guy and I feel fortunate to call him my friend.
That being said, please be assured that I do not divulge anything that is said on this board or any listserv, nor can I pass along anything you may want to relate to Rufus.

Rai--- I love the puzzle story ! I love strange coincidences --that's great! and thank you for sharing your Rufus story since we are all living vicariously through you. Make sure you tell him about the puzzle--I'm sure he will get a kick out of it !
