I thoroughly enjoyed your story of how you first met Rufus. I know you (or someone) had mentioned in the past how it happened in general, but it was so much fun to read the specifics! I can only imagine the kick Rufus got out of it at the time, and you wondering (like your husband said) that someone was pulling your leg big time -- thanks so much for sharing!

Heard from our guy this morning. He said filming is "drawing near" and in the meantime he's enjoying LA. I had complimented him on his "good grooming" in all the recent photos; of course he knows I'm effing with him.  He attributes it all to his acquisition of a new supply of - and I had to look this word up - bespoke suits. A gold star to any American that can tell me the meaning right off - I had to look it up on Wikipedia. GE2 - you're a Brit - is it a word you use in your everyday activities? Anyway, good to hear from him and I am soooo ready for this show! Rai ;D |

Ah, it is commonplace in our household  One of my sons has been to a bespoke tailor because the course he is on demands it of him - take out mortgage to buy new suit!!!! Sartorial elegance at its best! Thanks for sharing Rai - I hope this show makes it to Aus sooner rather than later. I dont recall the UK version ever making it there. |

Just got a quick message from Rufus that he won't be attending the Emmy Awards tonight, so for people like me who have husbands who hate such shows, there will be no fighting over the remote tonight. ;D
Rufus is doing well and keeping extremely busy, as we all know.

Well, he did do two parties in one day yesterday! Good for him for snubbing the Emmys - HBO shouldn't have hacked his role in JA to bits, so why should he support it now? Bitter, moi? Thanks for updating us, Rai! |
