That's been an ongoing gripe I have with CBS, the total lack of publicity for this show is disgraceful. They showed more spots for the Spring replacement in the span of an hour than I've seen for EH. Truly pathetic on their part.

Well I seem to be among the minority in not really liking "Subway", but I heard from Rufus last night and he said he was pleased with it, so what do I know? All in all, I've realized I'm just not a Jerry Bruckheimer-type-of-show person, so it's been a struggle. But enough about me - how do you like my new dress? Anyway, Roof said the last few episodes will be a chance to see what's good and what isn't, what could be and what hasn't been. I don't mean to be cryptic, but I only say that so as not to spoil all of your reactions and reviews. So stay tuned and I'll be interested to see what you guys think about the upcoming eps. As for a second season, no decision has been made at this time, but it is entirely possible. Time will tell. Rufus is very proud of the improvements he & Marley & Omar have made and the powers that be are behind him 100%, so that's good news in any case. ;D bye for now Rai

Thanks for the update, Rai - great to hear that Rufus has been allowed to influence things (by the sound of it) and that he seems to be happy with how it's working out.
Let's hope we don't have to wait too long to find out if it's picked up - or to discover what Rufus has lined up in the hiatus!

GRRRRRR!!!!! i wanna know more!!!! ---- no tipou, patience...
the good news, if i understand well your "cryptic" message (LOL) is that someone somewhere understood that they had a good actor they should listen to at some point. so far, they acted as if rufus and a wooden door made no difference to them.
i guess they will have to take a decision soon about season two, probably before may.
its not my favourite show of all times at all, but if they keep the pace they had on "subway", they certainly can keep me interested.
rai - if you did not like that ep, you're right, you'll never like the show at all.
hey - we are not obliged to like everything HE does. HE's not god after all - is HE?
rai: your new dress is just fine. the scarf is just too much, though. why not a nice little pendant instead? accessories is not something we should abuse of, you know.

i agree, GE2, we need new rufus material, a good role, a good movie, whatever - peach will say "a new play on broadway!" it kills me to see so-so actors everywhere, while such a good one is seldm seen at all. oh well. my dvd of vinyan is coming in april.

You know, I had concerns about the scarf. So no objections to the diamond tiara then. Good. thanks Tip

Thank you Rai for the update. The show has improved as of late, well except for Electro, but on the whole it's been good. It's been a pleasure watching him and seeing his humorous side emrge, but we've known all along that it was always there. It would be nice if it was picked up at least for another season.

No matter what, I look forward to my Thursday nights and Rufus in a new episode. Now you really have my interest piqued, Rai. CBS would be crazy not to renew for another season, so I'm just not even going to think about that possibility. My job right now is to keep spreading the word (the people at work have NOT been watching, but I'm helping CBS to do their marketing and I'm getting converts!)

Thanks for the info, rai! Glad to hear Rufus is pleased with the progress the show has made and that the producers are listening to his ideas for the character and the show. I'm optimistic about the show being picked up for a second season even though it wasn't the "mega-hit" CBS was probably expecting.

Perhaps Rai could help here.
Does anyone here happen to know which fan mail addie is best for sending to? i.e. London or L.A. (re: treatment of the mail... when it gets to him- if he actually reads it or someone else works as a go-between) and do you have any tips on how to get it there faster? I read somewhere that it is usually a good idea to include an international reply coupon.
Thanks! Vi

RAI: Thank you so much for the update on Rufus. My sister and I are really looking forward to the remaining episodes of EH. He sounds happy with the EH experience. Perhaps that may result in more seasons, if that is what he so chooses. I have heard actors comment that they like doing series because they are able to explore other areas of work when they are on hiatus. I will really miss seeing him each week in work that he has just recently completed. Guess I'm spoiled. But if it were not for EH, my sister and I and many of our friends would never have either known who he is or just what an acting genius he is. I think many people believe that being on television here in the US is a step down for an actor. But I think if an actor is really at the top of his/her craft, any medium may serve to expose and expand inherent and developed talent. As the public experiences great talent such as Ruf's, the more they will want and need to see of him. Thanks again and keep us posted. Just prayers and positive thoughts are on their way to Rufus !!!!
