Sorry, I have not got back sooner but have just got back from a day trip with friends (it being half term holidays here).

Right, I dropped off the card yesterday afternoon and was actually greeted by the lady that "looks after him" (her words not mine), I asked her if she could pass on the birthday card to him and told her that it was from the Forum and she nodded her head as if she knew about us, at that point I had a vision of Rufus discussing the Rooftop with her , anyway, she said that he was out of the country "on vacation" for a while, but when he returned she would make sure that he got it and thanked me.

Looks like we missed him by just a few days so maybe starting it earlier next year is a good idea. Still, when he returns he will have a nice card waiting for him to read and enjoy!

Now, I'm off to get the kids to bed, nite all!

Yes it is a shame that we missed him by just a few days, but it's there for his birthday and we did much better this year than last, when it didn't arrive until December 4!!!

If it hadn't been for the Pillars red carpet, Rufus may not have even come to the UK anyway. As we know, he's here, there and everywhere so we can never guarantee him having the card for his birthday.

But as i said earlier, next years card project will start on April 29. Here's hoping that 6 months will give us enough time to get it done and sent in plenty of time next year!!

And you've all thanked me plenty, but now i would like to thank all of you who took the time to get involved. It wouldn't be a successful project if no one participated, and i really, really enjoyed reading all of your lovely messages. And thanks as well for all your little cards and notes that came along with them. They were very much appreciated - it's nice to get things in the mail that aren't bills for a change!!

So i'm really looking forward to next year and doing it all again, bigger and better!!!
