Oh, Uke, I know what you mean! I fell just a bit for KB in 1989 when he directed & starred in Henry V. That inspiring speech on the field at Agincourt absolutely blew me away. "We few, we happy few, we band of brothers."

I saw KB lately in that ridiculous Tom Cruise movies "Valkerie". All I can say is OMG what happened to him! He looks horrible in this movie. I have never seen him look horrible in any movie, but in this one he does. I could only watch a little bit of it . TC doesn't even attempt a German accent, so all the actors just speak the way they normally speak, you have Germans with every accent under the sun.

I know what you mean, Uke! He's my absolutely favorite stage actor. Like Judy, I first noticed him in Henry V which I must have seen 20 times since. Also saw him on stage in Hamlet, a performance that totally blew me away. The best stage production and performance I have seen so far and I do go to see plays quite regularly. It is such a shame that he is so rarely on stage. It's what he does best and he's so brilliant at it. Saw him in Ivanov last year and totally loved it. Pic from that wonderful Hamlet, directed by Adrian Noble:
