Hey Roof Fans I'm from Switzerland.
The first time I saw Rufus was in "A Knights Tale". It wasn't that part which turnt me into a Roof-Fan, but than came Eleventh Hour and it made "click"... ...a new Rufus Sewell Fan was born.
I have a question. Can anybody help me with the avatar? I want to upload an avatar pic, but it dosen't work!
(sorry my English is maybe not very good, but I'll do my very best!)

Hi Samantha
Welcome to the gang. Your English is great - you don't need to worry about that.
I also noticed Rufus in EH. Although I had seen him in Knights Tale - (a movie that I already loved) and not realised it was the same gorgeous guy (well not until about the second episode). I looked Rufus up on imdb.com and the rest is history.
Please let us know your favourites. (I'm guessing you may have enjoyed Victory though !)
Regarding the avatar. Find yourself a picture - it needs to be one on the internet - you could try Roofsewell.com there are loads there or maybe on the Rooftop. Right clickon the picture, select properties then copy the url and paste it into the avatar box in your profile. You will probably need to alter the size. The maximum is 100 x 100 but I find 80 x 100 often works the best. You can play around until you get it right.
(there's also a bit about posting avatars in Technical help - at the bottom of the frront page - it may make more sense than my rambling !)
Good luck

Hello Samantha,
welcome! Have a lot of fun and don't be scared because of your english. My native language is also another one (german) but we mostly understand each other blind or know what the other one wants to tell because we are all writing with our hearts.

Thank you very much for the kindly welcome! I was in a rush when I wrote my message here, sorry. Okay, you want to know more about me? Here you go: I'm 22 years old and I live in a village 1hour from Zurich. I never met a hollywood star, actor or anything like that, only a singer and a guy from a Swiss television transmitter, that's just....AMAZING... (not really!) I also wrote a letter to an actor to get an autograph, but I didn't get an answer, but that's not to worry about it because it was a little test to find out how difficult it is to get an autograph from a famous person. Maybe Rufus will give me an autograph? ;-) I want to meet him one day, for an autograph or a pic and to look how tall he really is (because I'm tall too, 5.6 or is it 5.7? Here in Europe I would say 1.74m, anyway, I want to meet a man who is taller than me to look up not to look down, but that's another story... ;-) (not very interesting!) About Rufus: I'm not that kind of a person which buys a DVD only because Rufus is in it. I only buy it becaue I'm interest in the story or I like his character, like in Victory. Before I buy a Rufus DVD I go on youtube or watch it on the telly to find out if I like it or not. Here my Rufus-DVD-Collection: - Victory - Dark City - Bless The Child - A Knight's Tale - The Legend Of Zorro - Helen Of Troy - The Taming Of The Shrew - The Illusionist Films I saw on TV or you tube: - Tristan & Isolde - Dangerous Beauty - Charles 2 - In A Savage Land - Vinyan - Eleventh Hour At the moment I'm reading "The Pillars Of The Earth". I found out that I like Rufus with a beard, like in Helen of Troy (oh my god he looked so sexy in that film!) I also like Rufus because he is a real man, body, how he talks, behavior everything. And that made me also a Roof-Fan! Okay, I guess that's enough. I don't want to bore you! ;-) Sam

Yay Sam - you have your avatar. And what an avatar too. It's lovely BTW you can never bore us when you talk about Rufus. It's so nice to be able to discuss with other like minded fans and not get the rolling eyes like when you speak to the uninitiated. I see you have a developing collection of Rufus DVDs. I've not regretted buying any of mine. Some of the DVDs I prefer to others but I genuinely think his performance has been great in every one. Even Zorro but I'd never be tempted to but that one ! Woodland's is one you might like to watch too. It's on you tube if you want a preview.

Hey Nell
Finally I have my avatar ;-) I like that look...it's the typical Roof look!
You'r right I forgot "The Woodlanders". A have already seen it. Sorry Rufus but I too like your curly hair and your eyes! By the way, I have the same problem like Rufus. I have dark and curly hair too and all people think I'm Italian or Spanish, haha, it's nice to have something in common with our Roof-boy ;-)
I saw the DVD of "Illuminata" on the Internet and the trailer. I have to say that I'm not really a sex-scene fan so I'm not sure if I would like that film. I'm not prude, I just feel like a peeper. Or is it worth to watch it?
