Hello all,
I've decided to stop lurking because I've just purchased my plane tickets for a trip to Los Angeles next month, and I'm wondering if anyone knows exactly where the apple store is. You know, THE apple store that Rufus is always spotted at? I don't think I could forgive myself if I didn't at least try to stop in while I am there.

 The good news is that you're going to LA! The bad news is that there are three Apple Stores in L.A. If I were a betting woman, I'd check out the one at The Grove. Even if you didn't get to see him there, you might enjoy a bit of celebrity spotting since that seems to be a place they tend to be seen quite a bit. We're quite a generous group here and if you met Himself, our reaction would be something like this:  But only if you posted a photo or two of your meeting.  |

My guess is Rufus must have chosen his gadget by now so you probably won't get to see him in the Apple store. Though knowing men and gadgets - you might be in luck ! ;D

Judy and Nell, Thanks for the welcome. I've been reading and lurking for quite some time now, so I feel like I'm familiar with you all already. The Grove is already on my itinerary (yay). And I think that's the reaction I'll give if I catch sight of Himself, also! So if there's a story in the news about a crazy woman dancing in the street and making a fool of herself sometime between Nov. 10th and the 16th, it's probably me! As for my favorite...Well, I was stunned by TPOE, but I only got to see the first episode as a free preview, so I have to wait for it to hit Netflix to see the rest.  This weekend I watched The Holiday (again) and I also got to see Paris J'taime for the first time (good, but too short). To make a long story short, like all good things, I can't just pick one. |

I forgot to mention Dangerous Beauty. Luckily for me, I was home alone when I watched that one. Has anyone else noticed anything *ahem* extra during the love scene with Marco? I can't really tell, but it sure looks like at one point you can see Marco's...um...assets.

Welcome Rumantic(love the name). If I were going to LA, I would set up camp at The Grove! We also know he goes to Apple, Target, and Trader Joes...good luck...hehe!

Yes, Rumantic. There is that one very brief moment in DB at which the film editor happened to glance away and forgot to snip a slightly revealing moment. Thank goodness.  Oh, and Rumantic ... will this be your reaction when you spot Himself in LA?  |

Judy--Please! I object to your use of the word "snip" in the post above...it brings to mind images I don't want when thinking of that particular scene. (Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed, tho)
One of the reasons I lurked for so long was that I was having a hard time coming up with a good username, so I'm glad that you like it.
Yes, the camera will be with me at all times, as well as a spare set of batteries (maybe two.)
