That was the worst interview I've ever heard, I mean Clive Anderson. He's so rude. I asked me "why did he invite Rufus for the interview? He can't say a word!", but in the end Rufus could talk about his new films....uuuh I'm excited!

first if all never pick your eyes out with tooth picks. Just drink the martini and secondly we have nit wits like this on American TV who absolutely never shut up while someone else is talking. I did not hear the broadcast but did he talk about new projects or was he talking about Zen which I am waiting to see. And just rememeber girls anyone who spends any time talking about fonts is a boring idiot.

Glad I got to listen this am. Always great to hear his voice. Thanks for the hint at where his interview was...nice to forward straight to it. So the Englishman is a significant but small part...cant wait! No talk about new projects though.

He just said a few things about Zen and The Tourist, but only the titles of the movies and who is in it. (That makes them more interesting!) But it was nice to hear his voice again.

Frankly, I was disappointed about the way Clive Anderson made his interview with Rufus. I did not re-hear the whole 45 minutes, but I do not remember that he treated his other guests as rude as he delt with Rufus....

Aghhhh! I tried to listen now but it says it doesn't support iPlayer outside the UK. Can anyone grab and PM me the link if it's not allowed to be posted online? Thanks, it's so frustrating to be so close yet so far!

Ooooh, sorry, must remember never to speak without first having my morning coffee! I just went upstairs and am listening on my laptop, Apple doesn't have agreements apparently with anyone but itself, but Dell happily does! Thanks for letting me know where to start the interview, am listening now! "Donald Sutherland is the biggest star there, except for yourself of course" Geez, what kind of interviewer is guy?

Just listened to Rufus on Loose Ends (LIsten Now). Not knowing where Rufus would be, I listened from the beginning !! Although I saw Clive Anderson was the interviewer it some how did not sink in until the programm had well started when everything why I avoid Clive Anderson like the plague, came back. He is not only arrogant and opiniated but talks over his guests. and is frequently rude to them ( Google his interview with the BeeGees if you don't know the story) However we did have a little bit of Rufus and he was his usual charming self, so I suppose we must be grateful for that. Shame there wasn't more. Shame he wasn't allowed to say more. He is so articulate and funny , it could have been great. Pity Parky is retired, I would love to see him have Rufus on his show!!!

I agree, Frannie. Parkinson's show was broadcast over here on BBC America years back and I always enjoyed his show. This Clive Anderson guy didn't know the first thing about Rufus - thought he was still filming Eleventh Hour (don't we all wish), thought he only plays baddies, etc. Pretty bad, times like these I really miss Wossy!
But yes, we did get to hear his divine voice, so for that (and my coffee), I am grateful this rainy Sunday.

Agree with everything everyone has said - Clive Anderson definitely didn't do his homework on this interview! Plus - if you're going to ask a question, I'd assume it's cause you want to know your guest's opinion, not want to use it as an opportunity to air your own!
I was interested in Rufus' perspective on the amount of time TV projects take and his feelings about stage/film work. I'd give anything to see him on stage, he's such a great actor.

I can only echo everyone else--Rufus was intelligent, interesting and charming, as usual, and Clive Anderson was a fool.

Just listened to this, is it just be or does anyone else get the impression that Rufus dislikes Clive anderson? (I have no idea why! lol) And the way he skipped over mentioning Brad and Angelina, love it.

Fun but short interview. Rufus was funny as usual (small steps, etc, hee hee) so adorable and he sounded just scrummy If one can sound scrummy that is. Thanks for the link, and esp. thanks for the warning to pop right to the 36 min mark to avoid more of the pompus Clive Anderson. It's a shame, the Loose ends format is a nice idea, a mix o' this and a mix o' that...shame the host is so lame.
