 ...now I wonder how many of you ladies been to Bali? it is true that the hospitality there is uncanny, for that I'm very proud of. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit Nell, some people were discouraged after that night club bombing but life really goes on pretty good in there...lots of visitors and speaking of that; they thought I was one too! mostly thought I was from Philiphine due to my lacking in Indonesian - my own language!!! It sort of experiencing to be in a tourist shoes when nobody understood what you're trying to say. I can picture Rufus with Indonesian accent; perhaps in his next role; a language professor looking for his lost brother in the Sumatra Island at the Tsunami aftermath...I could just see that Oscar waving or is it Emmy? or Tony? Adina.........you cracked me up! love it! love it! and yes I'll seat next to you; do you think we should get a season pass? love that curls and in honor to that we should have curly fries and curly straws for the drink. Thank you Walt, I still haven't heard from her yet...shmg. When you get a hold of Rufus; just point to him those eye rollers and let him give em the stare! they will melt or wish they're never born....

SM, coming from Perth, I've of course been to Bali many, many times!
The best time was probably the very first 20 years ago, when we hired a little jeep and spent a few weeks driving around the island and visiting all the little out of the way places (i must admit to having a violent aversion to Kuta!!!). Candi Dhasa and the Royal Watergardens and the black sands of Lovina and the cool air and terraced rice paddies of the central highlands and Ubud. Absolutely wonderful! You must miss it terribly.
We haven't been back for a few years after having kids, but i think it might be time.

Oh Numbat, indeed I do terribly  I did go back this year for about 9 weeks June - August but for a family matter, no vacation at all but there were such a joy meeting old and new friends. It's been 8 years..... Hopefully my next trip down is truly a vacation and yes you should consider Bali for your next travel (stay away from Kuta!!!) My friends stayed at Lovina beach and they loved it. all that talk about Rufus in The Sea makes me think of Bali and all the seafood I can endeavor...hmmmmmmmmmm |

I finally heard from my friend who lives near the errupted volcano and her family is fine She was 30km away from the site now (safety zone is 25km) along with 36,000 other people sheltered. Ash cloud is not visible nor touchable but she could feel it breathing even with mask on. Hope it ended soon........... |

Lord Marke is a very good choice. T&I was also the movie I first kept my eyes on Rufus and couldn't take them away since then. And I also looooooooove Petruchio too.
