Lucky, lucky gals! How wonderful! I love reading the details and seeing the pics. Sounds like it was a great time with lots of conversation and hugging and kissing of and by Rufus! I'm curious. Did any of you get any sleep last night? And how are your legs? Still shaky? ;D Thanks for sharing your wonderful stories.  |

I did get to sleep last night, but I still keep going over the whole thing in my mind.
Lassie has been quite thorough in her report. I agree that the first question was cringeworthy, but that Roof was very good humoured about it.
I think he said something about it was nice to be thought handsome at his age. He said he would rather be thought of as good actor and an ugly one , rather than just a handsome actor.
They said that their relationship on set was one of joking around and that they got told to be serious a couple of times. I thought the first question was more embarrassing for Catriona than for Roof, but obviously from a fan (I wonder if they are reading this board ?!).
The cleverest fan question (I am guessing she was) was the one about comic timing I thought, flattering but more in context with the drama.
Lassie what you wrote was the gist of your conversation about the books, I don't remember anymore.
When Rufus was leaving he said that they were going out for dinner and that he was hungry and I think it was Nell, anyway one of the group who said that they would have brought him some sandwiches if they had known. He replied he was going for a posh dinner.
Mr Nell thought his scarf was very Doctor Who and there was some talk about him doing that. Also last night many of us thought he could be Bond if Daniel Craig does drop out of the next film, especially if it's a return to the more light-hearted Bond.

Right, here are my photos, I will post them all, although some are not of Rufus looking straight at the camera, sorry but as mentioned in my report, I rushed in and we were under pressure to be quick due to the annoying Bafta guy (as seen in the first photo at the side)! Great photos Ruthie. Here are two more of mine. How do you paste them to the board ? I can only work out attachment. Can't do insert. Does it have to be on another site ? First one is off Rufus looking away from the camera. Mr Nell should have the good copies of Rufus on his own, he was taking them too. Attachments:

Excellent photos, all! Glad to see Rufus didn't grow a porn moustache for Movember. (And, yes, Anniem, if you want to insert the photo into your post, the photo needs to be stored somewhere online ... you can get free storage at places like www.photobucket.com or http://www.tinypic.com.) Then you put the URL of the photo in your post and surround it with ![]() and [/IMG ] (taking out the spaces that I just put in there between the G and the end bracket). |

First off, let me say I burst out laughing when I read about asking for a cuddle! I know I would have wanted to, but I doubt I would have had the guts to do so. (maybe now, after reading how well that turned out..) Second, darned BAFTA guy!  Third, the detailed reports are wonderful, and I could follow this thread for days and still be thrilled. And last but not least, beautiful, fabulous photos....it's an odd sensation to be jealous and elated at the same time. |
