Zen was amazing, better than i imagined...soooo handsome, charismatic with a touch of Rufus humor! We all got to see Rufus at the end for a quick chat and then briefly at the bar after. Maz, you and the other ladies had shaky legs ?? I wasn't even there, but so far, just reading about meeting Rufus and seeing the pic... I'm shaking all over !!!!!

Oh it's just so exciting isn't it.  I think we're all as blown away as the girls who actually went!!! In the end, i think we all share one heart, which is why we're able to live vicariously through each other at times like this. Yes, we wish we could have been there, but in the end, as long as some of us went, it's as though we all did and we all share in the excitement. Now just a short sleep for you lovely ladies because we want to hear the full reports soon. Sweet Rufus dreams everyone!!!! ;D |

I was there!!!!!!!!  Not at the screening, but I made the important bit - the meeting the girls bit. Oh, and Rufus!  I got home at half-past midnight, and have spent the last 35 minutes trying to transfer onto the computer the pics I have of Rufus and Nell, and Rufus and Maz....and the ******* thing won't let me!!!!!!!!! So I'm going to turn the pooter off and turn it back on again and see if that works. Oh, and....YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! |

This is so awesome! I literally raced home so I could see if there was any news!
Unfortunately, tomorrow I actually have to work while I'm at work, and the wait for the play by play and pics is going to be agonizing...

It still won't let me transfer the photos - wahhhhhhhh!!!  I've resorted to re-charging the camera battery to see if that will work. Grrrrr! Trust me, he looks gorgeous in them!  I couldn't make it to the screening, but had arranged with Nell to meet her at the front afterwards, if I was able to get there. Luckily, rather than waiting outside, I decided to go in on the pretext of asking when the Q&A finished, and to ask if there was anywhere I could wait. I was directed to the bar, which is situated between both exits from the theatre so I easily spotted Nell and Manuela, but nearly lost my chance to see Rufus as I decided to wait for them while they went to the ladies - then Lassie came running along to tell us to get to where he was about to leave, pronto! As the others have said, he couldn't stay very long as the BAFTA guy was chivvying him along, so I didn't get my pic taken with him <sniff> but did get to speak to him, very briefly, before he was hustled away. Whe he was asked if he got the birthday card, he laughed "his" laugh as he said "I did" and that it was brilliant. He was very relaxed, very tanned, very smiley. We all went to the bar for a drink and a chat....and boy, was that a good move as about an hour later, he appeared at the other end of the bar, chatting with a few people (some other women went up to him - one got a hug and a kiss!)(jealous, moi?), then he came past us, so Mr Nell got chatting to him (or was it Mr Manuela?) and he stopped for a few moments, then said he had to go because he was being taken for a posh dinner - even though he'd eaten earlier. And then he went. We hung about inside a little longer, then outside someone (Nell?) spotted a cab with his name on it....and no, we didn't follow it! And if I can ever get the pics uploaded, you'll see what a handsome fellow he is!! |
