Having navigated around this forum and loving all the posts I have seen, I have found myself in the ' new members page'....finally My first recollection of Rufus was watching Woodlanders from my fathers VHS collection. 15 minutes into the movie and I was hooked. .......After that, things get a little hazy for me. ;D Having found myself in the best of both worlds, I now divide my time between Australia and London. The plane flights are long but the landing is always the sweetest. I'm learning to call both places home. Its a pleasure to find myself amongst friends here who share a common interest with me. There is something to be said about this forum when I can log off night after night with a smile on my face. ;D

Hi Neveragain! Welcome to our funhouse, where it's Rufus all the time! Just thinking about The Woodlanders makes me want to get out a box of tissues. Sob! I'd better watch Taming of the Shrew to counteract the sadness immediately! Glad you're here!

Hi Neveragain
Welcome to our little corner of Rufusness.
You'll always find plenty to smile about here. It's always good for a few laughs along the way.
So Woodlanders was your first Rufus experience. Do tell us what your favourites are if you have any.

Thanks for the welcome everyone !
@ nell - I think my favourite is 'A destiny of her own' . It was released in Australia under that title, I think its also called ' Dangerous Beauty'.
At the moment the tv series ' The pillars of the earth' is showing on Channel 4. Unfortunately I only tuned in last week to find out Tom Builder was dead. Just my luck !

Welcome, neveragain! So glad you decided to join us. Yes, "A Destiny of Her Own" is an alternate title for Dangerous Beauty - the original title was The Honest Courtesan. Don't be too upset at missing TPOTE - the DVD is released on Monday in the UK, so not long to wait to watch it at your leisure - in the meantime we have lots of pics from it in the Pillars section. Have fun exploring! ;D GE2, where are the flowers? I think the girls are taking them on Monday!!!

Hi neveragain and welcome!!
We would have welcomed you with some nice pictures of Giles, but we're a bit short on pictures at the moment!!!
But you will have to fill us in on this spending half your time in the UK and half in Aus caper - because in my fevered imagination, i have you down as having 2 identities and 2 families, one on each side of the world, neither husband knowing of the other. And of course, they will only find out about each other when the police start investigating you and they accidentally meet each other in the police station!!!
Of course, it might be something else entirely..........
;D

Hi Numbat ...thanks for the welcome !
I wish my life was that exciting but its very boring compared to that...lol. I'm an Australian who has dual nationality. I work in the medical field and work in both London and OZ. Unfortunately I'm married to my work which leaves very little time for myself or anybody else. I'm learning to reach an equilibrium though. Oneday I'll get there.
@ Joy - Hi and thanks for the welcome !!
