Hello again to everyone 
I decided to join after lurking around for many months (actually I must confess its been years!) and then going to the Zen Q & A earlier this week. I would have missed the opportunity of seeing the man himself if I hadn't read about it on this board, so thank you.
After reading some of the other members introductions I'm trying to remember when I became a 'fan' - I think it was when I watched Charles II when it was being shown on the BBC. I can remember having a 'lively discussion' with a colleague a work about it at the time because she had also seen it. Lets just say we didn't see eye to eye with regard to his acting talents and I took offence!
Another Rufus 'moment' which sticks in my head was when I went to see Tristan and Isolde at the cinema with a friend (i think we were the only people in the theatre) I don't think I need say anymore
I think the board is brilliant; I originally came across it whilst looking around the roofsewell website. I love the wit and humour of the posts and you've often brought a smile to my face.
As for me, I live in Surrey in the UK. I work for the NHS in a community mental health team as an occupational therapist (otherwise known as a professional basket weaver!).
