I want to let you all know how I got on at my hospital appt yesterday.
First I must explain to those who don't know.
Last March, I had a sudden hearing loss in one ear accompanied violent headaches and nausea. I saw a consultant who diagnosed non-malignant growing polyps.
Over the months I have had various treatments ending 2 weeks ago with the on-off "zapping" hospital treatment.
I went back yesterday, they have managed to shrink the polyps. I must return in 6 months to check upon the permanency.
Of course, they can do nothing about the hearing loss.
I want to thank every one who sent their good wishes and prayers. I was so touched by your care. I felt surrounded with love.
I always knew you were a lovely gang, but this was beyond anything I could imagine.
