I'm not going to list them all, but in the last 5 hours (since just before, during and since Pillars was screened in the UK), there have been 62 tweets about Rufus!!! (and still counting i expect). Only one of them was , most were along the lines of "Rufus Sewell, you beautiful man" but i liked the one that said he would be enjoying Pillars more if his wife didn't squeal like a schoolgirl every time Rufus came on screen!!! I also liked "Rufus Sewell........ look at that face, almost makes me believe in God" Amen to that!!!

It made me laugh last night to see five pages of tweets since TPOTE was shown. Nice to see so many people "discovering" Rufus, but it still annoys me that so many have only just cottoned on that he can play good guys!

I get tired of reading the "hes a good-guy" thing also. He has portrayed many good guys before Tom. Hope he is enjoying time off but I am anxious to hear what he will do next....good, bad or ugly(not possible).

Those twitters about his playing a "good guy" for a change are certainly not a surprise, but they do strike me as funny since his greatest performances (IMHO) have been his non-villian roles in The Last King, TOTS, Dangerous Beauty, and In A Savage Land. He's just that he is such a damn good actor as a villain (always making his character interesting, not a one -note thing, so he is compelling to watch) he got cast a fair amount of those roles for a while, and has been doing his level best since (and succeeding) in playing a greater variety of roles. It certainly hasn't hurt Mark Strong's carreer/checkbook that Rufus has eschewed the blockbuster villian roles for a while, ha ha. Anyway, I certainly wouldn't mind seeing him do it again if the role/movie was quality. Of course, I'd MUCH rather see him in play the lead role in a romance next time 'round, who wouldn't?

Well, wraps aren't technically sandwiches, are they?

As Jumbo Eats is not far from his agent, maybe he had popped in there......possibly to discuss some new work?

Oh I do hope so ! I hope he wasn't expecting his card to be there yet. Hopefully he'll be hanging around for a few days.

I think it's more likely that he's gone to his agent hoping that his birthday card WASN'T there nell. He probably breathed a sigh of relief!!
Anyway, saw this tweet and it made me laugh:
Me: "He has such a great smile", Lauren: "It would be better if he was naked" -on Rufus Sewell.
I think it sums up this board very well don't you? I think we should grant these two girls honorary membership!!

Absolutely. I was pretty upset about the "bare bums" rule. Couldn't we have asked for the site to have been rated as an adult site and kept the "bare bums"

There have been quite a few funny tweets about Rufus lately. You can check them out here: twitter.com/#search?q=rufus%20sewellMy personal favourite is the most recent one - a retweet from monkyfish. I won't repeat it here, but it did make me me laugh. But only go and read it if you have a similar sense of humour to me, otherwise you might just think it's distasteful (which i suppose doesn't say a lot for my sense of humour does it???) Oh and just to avoid any confusion (as per the conversation from yesterday about Rufus's hairstyle in the German interview), the person who tweeted this particular message was NOT referring to "a small cylindrical fur cover that one rests their hands between for warmth" ;D
