Well it's already Christmas Day here!!!

Kids were up at stupid o'clock opening presents, Rock God is hammering out Wolfmother on his new (much too big) amp, my other kids plus the kids visiting from the UK are all playing with their new toys..... and i'm drinking my Christmas morning Bloody Mary!!!

It's going to be a rather too balmy 38 degrees here today so we'll be spending Christmas Day sitting by the pool eating cold turkey and prawns and drinking champagne and the odd mango dacquiri.

Sorry for not being around lately, but the house is painted and the shopping is done, the kids have finished school so graduation and Christmas concerts are over, and the visitors from the UK are here, so i can finally relax!!!

So here's wishing all my wonderful RoofTop friends a fantastic Christmas wherever in the world you are and however you might be celebrating it. I hope you all received a little Roof in your stocking today (mine contained the beautifully, beautifully evocative soundtrack for IASL and of course TPOTE DVD), and i hope you can spend just a little time today enjoying them.

With luck you can spend the day with loved ones, be they friends or family or both, and i hope you can all appreciate the wonderful gifts of love and friendship at this special time.

Well i'm off to get ready for Christmas lunch - have a great day everyone!!!

Merry Christmas to Everywonderful Rooftopper!

It's so funny to hear Numbat is already enjoying Christmas Day when I just returned from an evening with friends and wanted to pop in here with Merry wishes before I turn in for the night. Hope you are having a lot of fun on the other side of the world Numbat!

Kissmekate- Had to laugh at your picture of Rufus on piano with the caption of his practicing to play at a Christmas gathering as I just got back from an evening which included my friend and his two boys playing Christmas carols on the keyboards, guitar and cello. We should have had my daughter bring her tuba and it would have been really interesting. What she didn't know as she sat there looking rather bored- she's 13 it goes with the territory- was that the ukulele she wanted for Christmas is at home waiting for her under the tree ;D Should bring a smile to her face tomorrow morning. Can't wait!

Wishing everyone at the Rooftop a peaceful, beautiful and loving holiday season---and their hearts desire for the life they want in the New Year.

Thanks for all the pics, posts, stories, and laughs, ladies. It's been such an exciting year for us Rufus fans with such great work of his coming out as well as some nice opportunities for a happy few to be able to meet him and express their appreciation in person for his hard work and dedication to his craft which brings such joy to us connoisseurs of fine acting!

Happy New Year everyone! Wish all of us, our loved ones and Rufus a happy and healthy New YEAR! I joined the RT in Jan 2010 (lurked long before), and it has been a pleasure this past year to enjoy Rufus with all of you. What a great year it has been for the RoofTop.
