Hi, just wanted to introduce myself I first noticed Rufus when the BBC trailer for Charles II: The Power and the Passion was screened a few years back. (In fact it cost me crockery as I dropped the plates I was holding!) "WHO is THAT?!" The start of a lovely journey of catch-up and discovery and now counting the hours to Aurelio Zen ;D It's the eyes...and the voice...the everything. *sighs*

Thanks ladies I had to laugh - I put Charles on and then logged in to see what was happening here! Taming of the Shrew yesterday and there's still room for something else before Zen. Any suggestions? Thanks for that clip Francesca - lovely

Welcome Lisa
It sounds like you're in the right place. Charles 2 is my second favourite after The Taming of the Shrew. I've a whole load in 3rd place that I just can't choose between.
Do tell us what your favourites are.
There's lots of excitement surrounding the arrival of Zen at the moment. Enjoy yourself !
Nell

Be sure to lock your crockery safely away before you start watching Zen. ;DMy favourites at this moment (but the list is not static as I discover more and more aspects of Rufus) are Taming of the shrew, In a savage land an Martha meet frank daniel and laurence.

Yep, all crockery safely stowed. I have to confess, I didn't know Roof was in The Tourist, so yes, I was that strange woman, squeaking with delight at an evening in Venice with him and Johnny...and guess who's company I enjoyed the most ...still can't quite decide what to watch this afternoon...

Welcome, Lisa! Come on, confess - how long have you been lurking here?! ;D Have fun exploring, if you haven't already. I bet it was that wink, in the Charles II trailer. when the little girl poked her tongue out at Rufus that got you hooked, wasn't it? It did me! For this afternoon, I'd recommend Higher Love/At Sachem Farm/Uncorked for sweet, loveable Rufus - it'll be a nice contrast to sexy smouldering Rufus later!

Honestly? I really have only just found this board. I was putting a small album of Rufus pics together on my Facebook page, not to share, just for my own guilty pleasure, and came across you. So I haven't been lurking for long. and yes it was that wink I have to say, you've all made me feel so welcome, thank you

Hello and welcome, Lisa! Love your crockery story I haven't been infected with Rufusitis for a long time, in fact it was The Pillars of the Earth airing in Germany in November that reminded me I had seen that man before in Tristan & Isolde, so I started searching the web for more on him ... and that was that - the last credit card bill exploded with DVD purchases My favourites so far are Taming of the Shrew, In a Savage Land (unfortunately that's awfully hard to find on DVD), Uncorked and Tristan & Isolde. (But there are lots of runners-up for fifth place, as I liked everything I saw him in so far ...)
