I cannot wait to see this. I have been watching TPOTE until I can recite the lines. I already have Dark City memorized.

In case anyone has missed it (as the page has turned over), please go back one page for a lovely comment about Rufus from the exec producer of Left Bank Pictures.

Thanks for posting that, GE2! What a great article! That was a very nice compliment for Rufus (not that we'd expect anything less. ) I loved this quote from Rufus: He's so funny! (And so right, too!)

Thanks for the great info. I cant wait...well it looks like I will have to. May have to put some presure on Masterpiece. Do you think this will be on Masterpiece or BBC America ? Another thank you to GE2 for posting this. By the way I bought a copy of the Christmas Radio Times today and on the back page it states that the January 1st - 7th edition will be published on Christma Eve. I should think all the other UK TV mags will follow suit, so hopefully lots of pictures from Zen and interviews with Roof. I hope he will make the front cover of some of them. Would be fantastic if he got a Radio Times cover.

The original BBC press release says that it's being made in association with (among others) Masterpiece for PBS. www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2010/02_february/18/zen.shtmlAnniem, around here the New Year RT tends to come out a few days before the official publication date, so keep your eyes peeled! Oh, and Rueful, I used to work with police officers and their usual motivation for wrapping up a crime scene quickly was to get the paperwork off their desks and their overtime sheets submitted! ;-)

Last Friday I asked a question on the Facebook site for Masterpiece theater about the timing of the airing of "Zen" here in the US. The answer was: "Zen ... will air sometime in the summer of 2011. The schedule will likely be announced early next year-so stay tuned". While I thanked them for their response, I did tell them that "Zen" will air in England next January and that next summer was far too long a wait for us here in the USA. I know it won't do any good but it made me feel better as I pounded my keyboard with my opinion!!!

You can pre-order Zen on Amazon (uk) - region2. Releasedate is January 24, at least that's what it says.
