Thanks Rueful and Rai
I think one of the great things about the role of Aurelio is that it's a totally different character to any we've seen Rufus do before, therefore showing his versatility. While the reviewer was full of praise for Rufus she also refers to his "Squidginess " WTF is that ?

Yes, thanks, Rueful and Rai!
It's not like Rufus to talk about things to come in the future, so I wonder if the producers have already been given the green light for more episodes? That would be terrific news, but rather unusual in these austere times.
Or maybe it's just that he's so enthusiastic about the role that he's already decided to say yes, IF more are commissioned? Yes, I like that theory!!!

with regards to the 'squidginess' I think they were saying they imagined a 'fatter' zen from their own thoughts on what Zen would look like from reading the books then turns out by casting rufus in the role.....

I think it was said at the Q & A that some more episodes may be made if the first 3 were successful - so I think it's the later. Though this sounds like more than the original 5 additional ones that were planned. We'll just all have to keep our fingers crossed.

Hi everyone, I got some really great tech help from the people at www.dvdunlocker.com/. There is a Philips DVD player that can be made region free and ALSO converts PAL to NTSC, which I need here in the US to see A Man of No Importance (Ruf is FANTASTIC in it!) because the only DVD of it I can find is PAL, and our TV sets here in the US are NTSC. See dvdunlocker advise below: "The only option is to locate a DVD player that plays PAL and NTSC DVDs and also has a built-in converter that converts the PAL DVD signals to a NTSC output from the DVD player that will be compatible with the NTSC TV. Philips has a few DVD players that offer PAL and NTSC DVDs compatibility and a built-in converter that converts the PAL DVD signals to NTSC that will be compatible with the NTSC TV. For example: Philips DVP3560/F7. (This model can be unlocked). preview.tinyurl.com/22md9ya" So the Philips DVD was only $60 on Amazon US, plus about $8 for an HDMI cable, I caved in and ordered it. I think it was worth it, since my existing DVD player can't be made region free. So, now I can pre-order Zen from Amazon UK and will be on my way to seeing Zen at the end of January. Yeh!! Now's hoping all this technology comes together and works as advertised :-D What WON'T we do for early and often glimpses of Ruf?!! Hope this helps others too.

Thanks for the great info Prariegirl. One of these days I'm going to get one of those too, it is probably worth it just so you can buy/watch the longer, better version of Charles II. Meanwhile, I wonder if it's loaded on youtube...think I read that it was.

Nell, the fact that he's even talking about the possibility of more is a good sign, in my book! It sounds like he'd definitely be up for them, doesn't it? I'd hoped, once Sherlock got the green light for more episodes, that the BBC's new strategy was to now generally make three-episode series to test the waters. Don't remember seeing anything about 5 additional ones, though? One of these days I'm going to get one of those too, it is probably worth it just so you can buy/watch the longer, better version of Charles II. Rufluvr, it's DEFINITELY worth it for that! ;D
