Lindragon, I ma very sorry to hear about your week and there is nothing worse than the loss of a petand dentistry all in one week feel better.
Chin up I really believe the show will be picked up. And for the poor unfortunate members who got those rather opaque letters, my suggestion is to shred them and send them back. It may not do any good but you will feel so much better when you put it in the mail.

ZEN not yet broadcasted in Italy, very strange! It was announced for the spring at the beginning of the year but now on mediaset channels there is Wallander!  |

Dreamer maybe the Italian tv stations decided not to broadcast it because it was not picked up and given the absolute opposition on the part of the BBC, they simply decided against it.

A bit late but IMHO nevertheless interesting:
If you watch "The Woodlanders", just at the beginning where the barber seaches the huts Little Hintock there is a flash telling:
production designer Andy Harris
So it looks like Left Bank Pictures knew Rufus already very well when they were casting him as Aurelio Zen. The R'n'R performance was just the confirmation that Rufus was still the exceptionally gifted actor they were looking for!

As a large section of Italian media is owned or part owned by ex pm Silvio Belusconi and there's a lot of government corruption in Zen perhaps that's the reason it's not been shown in Italy???

The italian contribute in the production of ZEN was paid by Mediaset, one of the many activities of which Berlusconi is owner, so, it is not for that reason, I think. |
