Yes, I think I was wrong about it. Sorry for the "false alarm"!

I saw the movie Junebug in that posting of the movies with months in the name, which I watched just yesterday. I do recommend it for the superb acting. The actress who played the Mom was really good, Celia Weston is her name. I have seen her in many things, but did not know her name. You will recognize her face if you are a big movie buff.

I've proceeded to Episode 4 now and still love it, I got into the story quite well by now and although my focus is on lovely Will of course, also the rest of the folks has begun to interest me.
While Rosie seems a little stupid to me, she could have invited Will for singing more often. His slightly rough voice goes right to the heart!

I agree, Rufus was perfect. (But I don't think that Rosie fell in love with Will in the book. It was just a fantasy, she played with it when she felt her life was too dull.)
My favourite quotes from the book (well, two of them): "'No', said Will, shaking his head backward somewhat after the manner of a spirited horse." "…he looked like an incarnation of the spring whose spirit filled the air - a bright creature, abundant in uncertain promises."

Watched Ep 5 yesterday. The introduction to Mr. Brooke's speech was great! (I love Rufus's clear pronounciation.) Whereas Mr. Brooke himself was nothing but cringey ...
Poor Will, first being dumped by Brooke and then this lost look of him after saying goodbye to Dorothea. (Why couldn't she have spoken out earlier, as she did when James criticised Will? But then, that does happen often if you're infatuated with someone, behaving like a moron ...)

Rufus did have a bloody amazing speech, and he looked pree stunning too!!!!!!!!!!! ;D But Mr Brooke's speech was hilarious... Robert Hardy is a brilliant actor and he did a great job of Mr Brooke... It was supposed to be awful,, but also funny, and I laughed my head off!! Especially at Rufus' face when Mr Brooke was doing his speech ;D

Especially at Rufus' face when Mr Brooke was doing his speech ;D Oh yes, that look is priceless! And I can't stop drooling at the look of him in those period clothes. And those curls. And the fresh face, he looks so vulnerable and young and absolutely adorable.

Watched Ep 6 yesterday.
Another heartbreaking goodbye to Dorothea. Will's disillusionment, disappointment and grief went straight to my heart.
Although Rufus has little screen time in this episode, his performance is strong as ever and absolutely convincing. The scene in Rosie's parlour was great too, first his nervous fiddling with some leftover food on the table and then, at the end, him trembling with suppressed rage, almost bursting. Very accomplished for an actor as young as he was then! And, of course, again ravishing looks.

But it was such a shame they cut out the scene where he goes off his head at Rosie and the scene with Dorothea... I don't know the book, but it sounds like that might have been great to watch (and besides, Rosie would so deserve to be yelled at! I can't help commiserating with Tertius Lydgate.)

So, now I'm through ... All the threads were wrapped up nicely in the end, some people got what they deserved, and although the final scene between Dorothea and Will could have had a trifle more passion in it, the rather tender reunion of the two was beautifully done. And I really admired Dorothea's dutiful visit to Rosie after having caught her with Will on the sofa ... not many women would have brought themselves to do that, I guess, just to save Dr Lydgate ... I just would have loved to get another final glimpse of Will Ladislaw in the end
