Thanks, Nell and Ekaterina!  OMG! Rousse, there are three options for quoting. 1. If you want to just quote one person's post, you can click the "quote" option on the upper right side of their post. This will give you a reply box that has all the text from their post with the quote codes already, and you can type your reply beneath it. You can delete any parts of their post you don't want to include. 2. If you want to quote several different posters on a page and/or get the codes for quoting, bold text, the smiley faces, etc, instead of typing in the Quick Reply box, you can click "reply" on the bottom right side of the page (in the blue bar) underneath the last post on the page. You'll get the same kind of reply box, but it will be blank. Just copy and paste the text from the post(s) you want to quote. After you've pasted, highlight text that you want to appear as a quote, and click the quote button. When you post it, it will still appear in a quote box, but without the original poster's name. 3. You can use the Quick Reply box. Copy and paste the text you want to quote. Use the code [ quote ] before and [ /quote ] after the text you want in a quote box (but remove the spaces I have showing between the brackets--it should all be closed up). |
