It is possible to make appointments for a viewing of these 2 plays - here are the necessary information.
If anyone is interested - here is the link of the V&A website with the contact details. (this would be for Rock'n Roll)

For up to 4 people (I think) the viewing takes place at the archives close to the Olympia in London. From a friend who has been there, I know it's dark, cold and unpleasant down in the archive but for Rufus I guess we are prepared to suffer. I'm not sure about the cost but I think you have to buy a reader card (like in a library) which I think is valid for a year and costs about 5£. It is just a small tv screen and you get headphones. So nothing spectacular but better than nothing.
There is also the possibilty to view a play from the National video archive at Sackler Auditorium at the Victoria and Albert Museum. If there is a group of 5 and more you can book the auditorium - the cost is about 75£ but if there is a group you can split up the cost. They will project the play on a fairly big screen. I did this with some other Toby Stephens fans last year and it was pretty good like this.
Opening times for the archives are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - I think from 10am to 4.30 pm. by appointment only (its wise to do it a week before) For a screening at the Sackler Auditorium I guess the opening times of the Victoria and Albert Museum are valid.

You either fill out the form or call - but you have to make an appointment beforehand. In this case I filled out the form last night, got the confirmation today for a viewing on Friday. I don't know about the costs but if there are any it will not be much. Again this will also be on a TV screen and the quality will not be very good. (but it cannot be as bad as the archived videos of the RSC ) in Stratford.
Opening times for the NT archives are Monday to Friday from 10am to 5 Pm (except Thursday from 12.00 to 20.00.) The NT archive is located opposite the Old Vic close to Waterloo Station.
If you need more information just let me know. But that's all right now I can think of. And I will tell you after seeing Luther if it is worth.
PS: The V&A also has a recording of Arcadia but unfortunately not the one with Rufus.
PS again: just realized that the links not always work - don't know why. They worked now when I tried.
